Apparatus and kit for floor protection
The present disclosure provides a novel design for an apparatus for protecting a floor, the apparatus comprising a plastic plate, a cushioning element, and a sliding element. Both the cushioning elements and sliding elements can be detachably coupled to opposing sides of the plastic plate via adhesive layers. The apparatus can thus take different forms for either sliding or resting furniture legs and casters over both carpeted floors and hard floors. The plastic plate is shaped with a raised lip so as to prevent contact with the floor even when the deformable sliding and cushioning elements are crushed by the heavy weight of furniture. The raised lip is formed so as to form a retaining wall about the concave receiving area where furniture legs may be placed when it is used as a caster. Also provided herein is a kit comprising multiple plastic plates, cushioning elements, and sliding elements, which a user can combine as they see fit for different functions.

Grounding Floor Glide for Shelving, Chairs, and Equipment to Reduce Risk from ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) and Protect Floors from Damage
This conductive ESD protective foot is a grounding device consisting of a resilient conductive floor glide (foot) that provides an electrical path from a shelving unit, chair, or other equipment, to a conductive floor. The foot can be installed onto a leg leveling bolt or, alternatively, inserted into the shelf post itself. This foot provides an electrical connection for ESD purposes while it allows a device using this foot to be moved without causing damage to the floor. This device provides a conductive path to the floor, allows a shelving unit to slide more easily across a floor without damage and separates metal leg levelers (bolts) from the floor, which reduces risk from rust stains caused my metal legs rusting to the floor from use of water or cleaning methods
This Foot protective foot can be installed and removed without the use of tools and is held securely in place when attached. It allows for some variation in bolt-head size as well as post inside diameter, which increases its flexibility, as the Heavy-Hex bolts used as leg levelers have bolt-heads that often vary depending upon the manufacturer. If an electrically conductive version is not required, non-conductive material can be substituted to reduce cost.
Drawer retention mechanisms for furniture
Dresser includes a frame having a front, a drawer slidable into and out of the frame, and a drawer retention mechanism between each side wall of the drawer and the frame alongside the side wall. The retention mechanism includes a track on the side wall defined between upper and lower parts, and a rail on the drawer movable in the track. A first stop is on the upper part and a second stop is on the drawer. The first and second stops are positioned to cause contact of a front surface of the second stop and rear surface of the first stop to prevent sliding of the drawer out of the frame and such that an angled rear surface of the second stop comes into contact with and slides over an angled front surface of the first stop during insertion of the drawer.

Furniture having anti-tipping construction
Piece of furniture, such as a dresser, includes a frame having a front facing surface and a rear facing surface, rectangular drawers each insertable into and partly removable from the frame and at least one of which includes a vertically oriented front panel, rectangular side panels, a horizontal lower panel and a vertically oriented rear panel, and front, non-adjustable supports and rear, non-adjustable supports for supporting the frame on a horizontal surface. The rear supports have a lower height than the front supports. As such, a distance between a lowermost drawer and a rear of the frame is less than a distance between the lowermost drawer and a front of the frame when the lowermost drawer is fully inserted into the frame.
