Cutting unit for harvesting between a rigid and flexible mode of operation
A cutting unit (1) that has a cutter bar (6) that is operated rigidly or flexibly, depending on the harvest conditions, which can be operated in at least two different operating modes, wherein the cutting unit (1) includes a first sensor assembly (1) disposed on the cutting unit (1) that can be deactivated, which is for operating the cutting unit (1) in a first operating mode, and a second sensor assembly (17) for operating the cutting unit (1) in a second operating mode, wherein, when switching between the at least two operating states, the first sensor assembly (13) or the second sensor assembly (17) is activated without interruption in operation, to execute a distance determination, depending on the selected operating mode.
SORGHUM CUTTING HEADER AND SORGHUM HARVESTER WITH LARGE FEED VOLUME AND MULTIPLE REELING PANS
A sorghum cutting header and a sorghum harvester with large feed volume and multiple reeling pans includes a reeling header, a rod crushing device, and a reciprocating cutter device. The rod crushing device is located under the reeling header. The reeling header includes reeling pans, frame rods, bearing seats, reeling pan shafts, tandem shafts, and tandem shaft bearing seats. The reeling pan shafts are installed in parallel on the frame rod through bearing seats. The adjacent reeling pan shafts are in transmission connection, and at least one reeling pan shaft is in transmission connection with the power device. An inner part of any reeling pan shaft penetrates the tandem shafts. Both ends of the tandem shafts are supported on the frame rods, and one end of the tandem shafts is fixed on the tandem shaft bearing seats. The reeling pans are mounted on any reeling pan shaft.

Nut harvester with a removable assembly and a method of replacing a removable assembly of a nut harvester
Systems and methods for replacing a removable assembly from a harvester for collecting and separating harvested crop product from twigs, dirt, dust, and other debris. A removable assembly for picking up harvested crop product and a removable assembly for separating the picked up harvested crop product from twigs, dirt, dust, and other debris are mounted to be changed out quickly in the field. A removable pickup assembly is received for removably mounting in the harvester by an inclined slot formed in a sidewall of the harvester body frame, so that the removable pickup assembly with the worn belt is lifted up and out and a replacement removable pickup assembly with a new belt is dropped into its place.

Agricultural harvester with a feeder house having a locking axle assembly
An agricultural harvester, such as a combine harvester, which has an auxiliary axle assembly for support of the feeder house of the harvester. The auxiliary axle assembly can be provided in a retracted position when in a field mode, and can be locked in an extended position when in a road mode, where a wheel of the assembly contacts the ground. When in the locked, extended position, the auxiliary axle assembly supports substantially all of the weight of the feeder house and any attached implements, allowing the feeder house to pivot relative to the main chassis of the harvester.

System for controlling a brake in an auxiliary hydraulic system
An attachment for a tractor includes a rotary reducing component including a plurality of cutters; a hydraulic system having an activated state, a semi-activated state, and a deactivated state; an inlet, an outlet, a hydraulic motor positioned between the inlet and outlet and being mechanically coupled to the rotary reducing component; a first sensor positioned at the inlet for sensing parameters of the activated, semi-activated, or deactivated states; a hydraulic brake positioned downstream of the hydraulic motor configured to restrict flow from the motor to provide hydraulic motor braking only in the deactivated state; and a controller in communication with the first sensor and the hydraulic brake, wherein the controller triggers the hydraulic brake only when the controller determines the first sensor senses a parameter of the hydraulic system being in the deactivated state.
