A tip device (1) includes a tubular tip (6) and a base (8) that is continuous with a rear end (6a) of the tip (6) and includes a first connector. The first connector detachably connects to a second connector provided in a container (2) to house the tip (6).
Liquid amount control device and liquid amount control method thereof
A liquid amount control device includes a position detector, a pump, a driver and a controller. The pump is connected with a first tip and configured to suck up the liquid out of the test tube. The driver is connected with the pump and configured to drive the pump to move. The controller is configured to: (1) control the driver to drive a first suction end of the first tip to enter a detection region of the position detector to obtain an end height position of the first suction end; (2) control the driver to drive the first suction end of the first tip to enter the liquid by a first entering depth according to the end height position; and (3) control the pump to suck up the liquid in the test tube through the first tip.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR EXACT LIQUID-CLASS-INDEPENDENT PIPETTING
The present application relates to a pipetting device and a pipetting method for pipetting, therefore for aspirating and/or dispensing, a metered liquid using a working gas, independently of the flow- and/or wetting characteristics of the metered liquid, wherein a pipetting channel comprises a first working region, of which the known base temperature is in a lower base temperature range, and a second working region, of which the known working temperature is in a working temperature range that is increased with respect to the base temperature range.
Chemical liquid dispensing apparatus and chemical liquid discharging device
A liquid discharging device to be used with a liquid dispensing apparatus includes a discharging portion configured to discharge a liquid based on a control signal from the liquid dispensing apparatus on which the liquid discharging device is mounted, and a sheet material having a characteristic configured to be changed by the liquid dispensing apparatus after a discharge of the liquid by the discharging portion.
Cleaning device and chemiluminescence detector
The present disclosure relates to a cleaning device and a chemiluminescence detector. A cleaning device is provided with a cup inlet station and a cup outlet station, wherein the cleaning device comprises a pedestal, a plurality of magnetic adsorption components, a turntable arranged on the pedestal, and a primary cleaning mechanism arranged on the pedestal, wherein each of the plurality of magnetic adsorption components comprises a plurality of magnets; magnetic adsorption heights of a plurality of magnets of the first magnetic adsorption component are equal and are recorded as A; magnetic adsorption heights of a plurality of magnets of the middle magnetic adsorption component are equal and are recorded as B, and B>A.
AUTOMATED REAGENT IDENTIFICATION FOR FLUID HANDLING SYSTEM
Systems and methods of identifying reagents loaded into a fluid handling system can comprise programming a protocol for preparing a sample into a controller of the fluid handling system, loading multiple reagent vessels into a carousel of the fluid handling system, imaging individual labels of the multiple reagent vessels with an imaging device to produce label images, comparing information in the label images to identification information located in a database in communication with the controller, and determining if appropriate reagents have been loaded into the carousel to perform the protocol. A fluid handling system can include a deck, a tube holder, an imaging device, a pipettor, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium and a processor configured to perform the method.
MOBILE PHASE SUPPLY DEVICE WITH FLUIDICALLY NORMALLY CLOSED PORT AND CAP DEVICES
A mobile phase supply device, for supplying a mobile phase for a sample separation apparatus for separating a fluidic sample, includes a fluidically normally closed cap device configured to be mounted on a mobile phase container containing a mobile phase, and a fluidically normally closed port device configured for being mechanically connected with the cap device in such a way that, upon establishing a mechanical connection between the port device and the cap device, both the port device and the cap device are converted into a fluidically opened configuration.
Pipette tips
Disclosed here are pipette tips useful for acquiring or dispelling liquids, and include one or more design that may increase fluid delivery precision and/or accuracy, and may reduce certain repetitive motions.
Syringe-based fluid diversion mechanism for bodily fluid sampling
A syringe-based device includes a housing, a pre-sample reservoir, and an actuator. The housing defines an inner volume between a substantially open proximal end portion and a distal end portion that includes a port couplable to a lumen-defining device. The pre-sample reservoir is fluidically couplable to the port to receive and isolate a first volume of bodily fluid. The actuator is at least partially disposed in the inner volume and has a proximal end portion that includes an engagement portion and a distal end portion that includes a sealing member. The engagement portion is configured to allow a user to selectively move the actuator between a first configuration such that bodily fluid can flow from the port to the pre-sample reservoir, and a second configuration such that bodily fluid can flow from the port to a sample reservoir defined at least in part by the sealing member and the housing.
Particle-drop structures and methods for making and using the same
Sub-millimeter scale three-dimensional (3D) structures are disclosed with customizable chemical properties and/or functionality. The 3D structures are referred to as drop-carrier particles. The drop-carrier particles allow the selective association of one solution (i.e., a dispersed phased) with an interior portion of each of the drop-carrier particles, while a second non-miscible solution (i.e., a continuous phase) associates with an exterior portion of each of the drop-carrier particles due to the specific chemical and/or physical properties of the interior and exterior regions of the drop-carrier particles. The combined drop-carrier particle with the dispersed phase contained therein is referred to as a particle-drop. The selective association results in compartmentalization of the dispersed phase solution into sub-microliter-sized volumes contained in the drop-carrier particles. The compartmentalized volumes can be used for single-molecule assays as well as single-cell, and other single-entity assays.
