Nucleic acid analysis apparatus
A nucleic acid analysis apparatus with isothermal based amplification includes a chamber, a fluid delivery unit, a thermal unit, a rotational driven unit and at least one optical unit. The chamber includes a cartridge mounted therein. The fluid delivery unit is connected with the chamber and adapted to transport reagents within the cartridge for sample purification and/or nucleic acid extraction. The thermal unit is disposed in the chamber and adapted to provide a predefined temperature for nucleic acid amplification. The rotational driven unit is connected with the chamber and comprises a motion control unit, wherein the motion control unit is capable of pressing the cartridge during sample purification and/or nucleic acid extraction and rotating the cartridge with a predefined program during nucleic acid amplification and/or detection. The at least one optical unit is disposed on the chamber and includes plural optical components for detection.
CONTAINER SYSTEM FOR TRANSPORT OF BIOLOGICAL MATERIAL, USES THEREOF AND METHODS OF PACKAGING
The invention relates to a container system for transport of biological material comprising a container casing and an insulating device, wherein the container casing defines a container interior space for accommodation of the insulating device and for accommodation of biological material to be transported, and wherein the insulating device is constituted of at least two insulating portions, which are formed so as to surround the biological material inside the container interior space. The invention further relates to uses of such a container system for packaging and transport of biological material, as well as methods of packaging biological material for transport.

TEST RECEPTACLE RACK
A test receptacle (2) rack comprises apertures (6) for receiving test receptacles, each aperture having a first side and a second side opposite the first side; permanent magnets (4, M1-M6), and an (actuator 16) to impart relative motion between the permanent magnets and the apertures (6) to switch between a first configuration and a second configuration. For a given aperture (6): in one of the first configuration and the second configuration, one of the permanent magnets is positioned adjacent to the first side of the aperture, in the other of the first configuration and the second configuration, a different one of the permanent magnets is positioned adjacent to the second side of the aperture. This is useful for many lab experiments involving magnetic beads placed in receptacles.

Container for containing perishable goods
A container for transport of biological samples, food or beverages under controlled temperature, or other perishable goods includes a housing compartment for the goods, which is delimited by one or more side walls and has at least one opening. At least one intermediate wall is provided inside the housing compartment and is adapted to divide the housing compartment into at least two sections. The intermediate wall has at least one vent pipe element that includes an upper opening connected to a lower opening through a duct, such that the lower opening communicates with one section and the upper opening communicates with the other section of the housing compartment. The vent pipe element also includes a fan adapted to create a forced-air flow from the upper opening to the lower opening and vice versa, so that the forced-air flow provides constant temperatures for the goods during transport.
