Shelving systems

A shelving system includes side members that each define a first channel having a slide disposed therein. A cross member extends between and connects the slides. The cross member defines a second channel having a guide member disposed therein. The guide member defines a third channel and a flange. A container includes side walls having a rail. One of the rails is movably disposed in the third channel. The rails include a first locking element and a second locking element. The handle includes a third locking element that engages the first locking element. The handle is movable between a first position in which the second locking element engages the flange and the container is fixed relative to the guide member and a second position in which the second locking element is spaced apart from the flange and the container can translate relative to the guide member.

Drawer assembly

A drawer assembly includes a member having a first locking element. A drawer includes a frame and a handle having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is coupled to the frame. The second portion is coupled to the first portion. A drawer release includes a first end and a second end and is rotatably coupled to the drawer. The first end includes a second locking element. The second portion is rotatable relative to the first portion to move the drawer release between a first orientation in which the second locking element directly engages the first locking element to prevent the drawer from translating relative to the member and a second orientation in which the second locking element is spaced apart from the first locking element to allow the drawer to translate relative to the member.

Hardware Handle
20190360234 · 2019-11-28 ·

A hardware handle that is attached to a surface of an object or structure. The hardware handle includes a longitudinal member with an outer surface, an inner surface, a first end and second end. A first securing post attached to and perpendicularly extending from the longitudinal member first end, and a second securing post attached to a perpendicularly extending from the longitudinal member second end, can also be included. A threaded opening on the first and second end, or on each securing post facilitates the hardware handle being attached to an object or structure by use of a screw. An adhesive can also be utilized. Located on the inner surface and extending the length of the longitudinal member is a slot. A section of material is wrapped around the longitudinal member, with the two ends of the material inserted into and captively maintained within the slot. The insertion and maintaining of the two ends of material within the slot creates a smooth surrounding surface of the material, with no bumps or creases would occur when overlaying the ends of material.
