The present invention includes a body having a storage compartment defined therein, a door for opening and closing the storage compartment, a lifting member, which includes a handle and a first gear extending in a vertical direction and which is disposed at the door in a manner of being movable upward and downward, a second gear, which is disposed at the door so as to engage with the first gear, a third gear, which is disposed at the door so as to engage with the second gear, and a pushing member, which is disposed at the door so as to be movable in forward and rearward directions and which includes a fourth gear engaging with the third gear, the pushing member exerting external force on the body when the lifting member is lowered, thereby offering an advantage in that a user such as a child, who is short, can easily open the door.

When the leg is attached to the surface, the handle section forms a graspable handle. A mounting track is formed along at least a portion of the handle section. The mounting track includes a base, two vertical rails extending opposite each other from the base, and two horizontal beams each extending from a different one of the vertical rails over the base toward the other horizontal beam. The horizontal beams are laterally spaced apart from each other by a first distance. The vertical rails and the horizontal beams define a track within which a retention element of a mount assembly can move.

A mechanical assembly in a drawer may include a handle rotationally coupled to a cover and configured to rotate between a closed position and an open position relative to the cover. The mechanical assembly may also include a spring latch mechanically coupled to the cover and having a spring force for maintaining the spring latch in a biased position in the absence of mechanical force opposing the spring force, the spring latch having its most significant dimension in a direction perpendicular to a direction of translation of the drawer when the drawer is inserted and removed from a corresponding chassis. The mechanical assembly may further include a cam mechanically coupled to the handle and responsive to rotational motion of the handle such that in the closed position of the handle, the spring latch is in its biased position, and as the handle is rotated between the closed position and the open position, the cam causes the spring latch to deflect from its biased position in a direction perpendicular to the direction of translation.
