Structural stanchion for a cabinet of an appliance
An appliance includes a cabinet having first and second sidewalls and an interior mullion extending therebetween, wherein the first and second sidewalls and the interior mullion define a plurality of interior compartments. First and second stanchions define vertical structural members of the first and second sidewalls, respectively. The first stanchion includes a first medial flange that extends partially into the interior mullion. The first medial flange defines a first hinge attachment point, and a distal end of the first medial flange is positioned proximate a first hinge.
Electronics enclosure systems and methods
An enclosure assembly for electronic equipment using a housing and a sled. The sled is a combination of a bracket with a skid, the skid preferably of a low friction material, where the sled slides into the housing in order to complete the assembly.
Cooling arrangement for refrigerators
A cooling arrangement for refrigerators is provided, which allows better control and temperature maintenance for beverage cans, which facilitates access to them without having to open other cooling chamber of the refrigerator and also prevents an abrupt shift of the cans which can generate overflows of the liquid contents when opening them.
Systems and methods for reducing air losses in refrigerated cases
A refrigerated display case includes a frame, a door, and a lateral flow barrier. The frame includes a first mullion and a second mullion. The frame defines a common refrigerated zone. The door is hingedly mounted to the first mullion. The door is configured to selectively interface with the second mullion. The lateral flow barrier is coupled to one of the first mullion and the second mullion. The lateral flow barrier extends into the common refrigerated zone. The lateral flow barrier partially separates the common refrigerated zone into an first sub-compartment proximate the door and bounded by the lateral flow barrier and an second sub-compartment opposite the first sub-compartment. The lateral flow barrier is not thermally insulating.

Opening device for refrigerator
A side-by-side refrigerator having a door opening device which includes a cabinet and a door to open and close a front surface of the cabinet, the door opening device comprising: a handle which is mounted on a front surface of the door to perform a seesaw motion; and a push kit which is mounted on a side surface of the door to interwork with the handle, wherein a portion on which the handle and the push kit are mounted is formed to be recessed in the door.

An insulated icemaking compartment is provided in the fresh food compartment of a bottom mount refrigerator. The icemaking compartment may be integrally formed with the liner of the fresh food compartment, or alternatively, may be modular for installation anywhere in the fresh food compartment. A removable bin assembly with a front cover normally seals the icemaking compartment to maintain the temperature in the compartment. A cold air duct formed in the rear wall of the refrigerator supplies cold air from the freezer compartment to the icemaking compartment. A return air duct directs a portion of the air from the icemaking compartment back to the freezer compartment. An air vent in the icemaking compartment directs another portion of air into the fresh food compartment. A control system provides for controlling refrigerator functions in a manner that promotes energy efficiency.
Freezer and hinge for same
The present application relates to a freezer and a hinge for the same. The hinge comprises a base, in which a left side of the base is provided with a first flange portion, a right side of the base is provided with a second flange portion opposite to the first flange portion, and the first flange portion and the second flange portion is provided with sliding grooves opposite to each other; a connecting seat; a first pivot shaft; a second pivot shaft parallel to the first pivot shaft, in which both ends of the second pivot shaft may slide in the corresponding sliding grooves respectively; a guide rod; a supporting seat; a positioning part; a spring sheath fitted over the guide rod and movable between the positioning part and the supporting seat; and a spring fitted over the spring sheath.
Refrigerator and basket assembly thereof
A refrigerator and a basket assembly thereof are disclosed. The basket assembly includes a basket, a cover for covering the basket, a knob provided at the basket, and a protruding portion provided at the cover and fastened to the knob. The knob includes a first extension portion extending from the basket in an upwardly inclined direction to a higher position than a distal end of the protruding portion so as to support a rear surface of the protruding portion, a second extension portion extending from the first extension portion in a downwardly inclined direction, and a third extension portion extending downwards from the second extension portion. When force is applied to the third extension portion in a forward direction, the first extension portion is elastically deformed such that the distal end of the first extension portion is moved to a lower position than the distal end of the protruding portion.
One piece collapsible shelving unit with vertical divider structure
A shelving unit movable between a shelf-supporting condition and a collapsed condition includes first and second side support frames pivotally connected to a rear support frame. At least two shelves are pivotally mounted to the rear support frame for movement between a horizontal position supported on the first and second side support frames, and a vertical position removed from the first and second side support frames. At least one divider is pivotally mounted to one of the at least two shelves between a vertical position between the at least two shelves and a horizontal position folded against the one of the least two shelves. The first and second side support frames are folded forwardly of the at least two shelves in the vertical position thereof, and the second side support frame is also folded forwardly of the at least one divider folded against the one of the at least two shelves to form a compact folded, layered arrangement so that the shelving unit is easy to store and transport.
