A method of producing first break wheat which maintains wheat germ and wheat germ oil intact and surrounded in a protected state by endosperm includes milling wheat grains via a single pass through corrugated first break rollers thereby forming an amount of first break wheat, wherein the corrugated first break rollers are specifically designed to maintain wheat germ and wheat germ oil in the first break wheat intact and surrounded in a protected state by endosperm, and eliminating further processing of the first break wheat which exposes the wheat germ and wheat germ oil therein to the surrounding atmosphere. A first break wheat mixture is obtained by mixing first break wheat with white flour to obtain a first break wheat mixture including about 3% to about 50% by weight of first break wheat and about 50% to about 97% by weight of white flour.

A dehulling system for soft-shelled nuts includes at least two dehulling stations arranged in series, where each station is made up of at least one dehulling machine in a first dehulling stage and a screening machine in a second screening stage, both being a first and a second consecutive stages. The screening machine is a densimetric separator located lower than the dehulling machine and has an upper product inlet towards the interior thereof, which comprises a drum arranged according to an inclined plane, a first outlet for the dehulled grain in the upper part of the drum and a second outlet for the rest of materials other than the dehulled grain in the lower part of the drum.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DRY EMBRYO EXPLANT PURIFICATION

The present disclosure provides novel apparatuses, systems, and methods for purifying dry embryo explants from a preparation of dry plant embryo explants for use in methods of genetic modification. The methods provided by the present disclosure may include one or more steps of sanitizing, drying, milling, coarse width sizing, length sizing aspiration, width and thickness separation, aspiration-classification, or separation using a friction table. The present disclosure further provides a population of purified embryo explants produced using the disclosed apparatuses, systems, and methods.
