CONTROL SYSTEM

A control system that sets a voltage of a DC bus connected with a secondary battery to an optimal value in accordance with a capacity of a power supply and characteristics of the secondary battery to stabilize a battery voltage of the secondary battery. The control system includes: drive units having a crusher that crushes an object to be crushed; inverters connected to the respective drive units and convert power; a converter that receives power from an AC power supply and converts the received power into DC power; a lithium-ion battery that charges the DC power according to a drive state of the drive units or supplies power to the drive units according to the drive state of the drive units; and a PLC that sets a conversion voltage of the converter based on a state of the lithium-ion battery and an output capacity of the AC power supply.

A crusher for crushing mineral material, a method for decreasing give in a crusher and a mineral material processing plant. The crusher includes a movable and a fixed crushing element arranged to receive a force. The crusher further includes a hydraulic cylinder and a piston inside the hydraulic cylinder and a piston rod attached to the piston which extends through a first end of the hydraulic cylinder and is connected to the movable crushing element. The hydraulic cylinder has a first space around the part of the piston rod in the hydraulic cylinder and a second space limited by the first space and the piston. The crusher further includes a valve and a hydraulic fluid connection from the valve to the first space. The valve is configured to enable a flow of hydraulic fluid into the first space in response only to the piston moving in the hydraulic cylinder towards the second space due to said force.

EDDY CURRENT BRAKE FOR A CRUSHER

A braking system for use with a crusher having a moving crushing member and a stationary crushing member. The braking system is positioned and is operable to restrict rotational movement of the moving crushing member. The braking system includes a braking disc or plate and one or more braking yokes that each include a magnetic member, such as a permanent magnet or an electric magnet. The braking disc is formed from an electrically conductive material and is perpendicular to the magnets of the braking yoke. Relative movement between the braking disc and the braking yoke induces an eddy current in the braking disc. The induced eddy current creates a magnetic force that opposes rotational movement of the moving crushing member. The braking system can be used with a compact eccentric crusher to restrict the rotation of a crushing roller during an idle mode.

Maintenance platform of jaw crusher

A maintenance platform of a jaw crusher having an adapter part that engages a first wear part when in place in a jaw crusher cavity. The platform includes a support part that engages a second wear part when the maintenance platform is in the jaw crusher cavity. The platform further includes a platform part residing between the adapter part and the support part. The platform part has a face section that engages the adapter part and a central section that extends apart from the face section towards the support part. The platform part defines at least two grooves each extending from the central section to the face section. The adapter part joins to the platform part by hand screws or nuts through the grooves. The grooves are shaped such that the platform part is separable from the adapter part after untightening while maintaining in place the hand screws or nuts.

The actuating rod of the actuating cylinder and the coupling rod of the buffer tank are coupled to respective ends of the inversion lever. The actuating rod and the coupling rod extend and retract alternately with respect to each other as the inversion lever turns.
