Also disclosed is a method for mounting the deflection distributor refitting kit, as well as a roller crusher comprising a deflection distributor.
AN APPARATUS FOR GRINDING PARTICULATE MATERIAL
An apparatus for grinding particulate material comprising: a roller press having a pair of grinding rollers each having a rotation axis and being arranged oppositely and parallel to define a grinding roller gab in a common plane through the axes of the rollers, and a mechanical conveying device for conveying granular material to the roller press having a proximal end and a distal end relative to the roller press, the roller press being arranged at the proximal end of the conveying device. The conveying device is arranged to constrain a flow or mat of the granular material having in a cross sectional view a rectangular shape with a mid-plane and to transfer the flow or mat of granular material directly to the grinding roller gab of the roller press in a linear transfer plane being coincident with the mid-plane and perpendicular to the common plane through the axes of the rollers.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GUARDING AND COMPOUNDING MATERIAL WITH TWO ROLL MILL
A tool for feeding material into a mill having a roller and forming a nip gap. The tool broadly comprises a baseplate, a guide plate, and a ram. The baseplate is configured to be positioned on the mill over the roller and forms a slot. The guide plate is configured to be positioned in the slot of the baseplate near the nip gap. The guide plate forms a chute for feeding the material into the nip gap. The ram is configured to be inserted into the chute to urge the material into the nip gap while preventing a user's fingers and other foreign objects from nearing the nip gap through the chute.
Apparatus and Method for Grinding Particulate Material
A vertical roller mill comprising a grinding table and a grinding roller having a rotational axis, each having a grinding surface and arranged to define a grinding zone between the grinding surfaces grinds particulate material. A feeder feeds the particulate material to the vertical roller mill, with the grinding roller is-arranged to roll around a grinding path on said grinding table. The feeder receives a supply of the particulate material and directs that material to flow to the grinding zone of the vertical roller mill. The feeder can constrain the flow of material to a defined cross-section by applying a momentum to and/or pushing, or to compact the flow of material prior to directing the material, or combinations thereof. In particular, the disclosure is applicable to grinding particulate materials like mining ores, industrial minerals and chemicals, sand, slag, ash, clay, pigments for coatings, pharmaceuticals and cement raw materials.
HAY BALE FEEDER
A hay bale feeder is described. Embodiments of the hay bale feeder include a frame, one or more bale support members, and a pair of spaced apart drum assemblies. The hay bale feeder can be implemented to shred a square hay bale. The hay bale feeder can typically be attached to a tractor or other vehicle. The pair of spaced apart drum assemblies can include a pair of drums having protrusions that are adapted to shred a square hay bale as the square hay bale is gravity fed to the pair of drum assemblies.
Canola Seed Sample Crusher
A canola seed sample crusher features a frame, and a drum rotatably carried on the frame and having an array of seed pockets on an outer periphery thereof. The seed pockets are sized and shaped to receive individual canola seeds respectively therein. A pathway is arranged to receive a length of adhesive tape and guide same over the seed pockets in the outer periphery of the drum during rotation thereof to adhesively collect the sample of canola seeds from the seed pockets onto the adhesive tape. A crushing mechanism is carried on the frame and operatively installed at a position along the pathway to crush the sample of canola seeds collected on the adhesive tape during passage of the tap through the crushing mechanism.
MOVABLE ATTACHMENT FOR ROLLER PRESSES AND A METHOD FOR REMOVING CERTAIN PARTS THEREOF
A roller press arrangement, a connection device for movably attaching certain parts to the roller press and a method for more easily performing maintenance on such parts is disclosed. The roller press comprises a frame assembly and a force generation device. The force generation device configured to move so that it is removable when top members of the frame assembly are connected to the side members of the frame assembly and fixed in a closed horizontal position. The connection device for attaching a force generation device to the frame assembly comprises a mounting plate and a hinge. The hinge is rotatable so that the force generation device is removable when top members of the frame assembly are connected to side members of the frame assembly and the top members of the frame assembly are fixed in a closed horizontal position.
Roller press
A roller press (1) is described for grinding of particulate material such as cement raw materials, cement clinker and similar materials, which roller press (1) comprises two oppositely rotating rollers (2, 3) forming between them a roller gap (4) and a co-rotating annular disc (5), which in concentric manner is attached to an end surface (6, 7) of one of the rollers (2) by means of a number of resilient attachment elements (8) and being movable in the direction of the roller axis, where the outer diameter of said annular disc (5) is greater than the diameter of said one of the rollers (2), hence the annular disc (5) in the area of the roller gap (4) extends toward the other roller (3), thus covering at least part of the roller gap (4). The roller press (1) is peculiar in that the inner diameter of the annular disc (5) is smaller than the diameter of the roller (2), to which it is attached, thus overlapping the end surface (6, 7) of said roller (2), and that the resilient attachment elements (8) are evenly distributed over the circumference of the annular disc (5) and provided with spaces or openings (10) there between. It is hereby obtained that the annular disc (5) does not get stuck by material to be grinded or destructive forces damaging construction parts are not accumulated. This is due to the fact that material in the roller press (1) according to the invention is allowed to escape from the area between the annular disc (5) and the roller (2) to which it is attached.
Roller mill and method for milling brittle milling material
A roller mill for crushing brittle material has two grinding rollers forming a grinding gap, and provides a delivery chute for feeding the material to the grinding gap. In the delivery chute at least one distributor device is arranged above a middle region of the grinding gap and extends above the grinding gap transversely to the longitudinal extent of the grinding gap and covers from 5 to 70% of the cross-section of the delivery chute. The material is delivered to the delivery chute and is crushed in the grinding gap, wherein the material is introduced into the delivery chute or is deflected in the delivery chute in such a manner that, based on the longitudinal extent of the grinding gap, coarser material accumulates in a middle region of the grinding gap than in the edge regions.
System and method for flaking
A system and method for flaking. The system includes a stationary roller, and moveable roller, and an adjustable fixator applying tension between the stationary and moveable rollers. The fixator includes a pressure transducer and a linear indicator. The transducer and indicator allow the fixator to read pressures and make fine adjustments to the fixator to obtain a desired gap between the two rollers.
