Granules conditioner
The present invention concerns a granular material conditioner for optimising grain sizes of granular materials comprising two discs which are rotatable relative to each other and which are arranged in substantially mutually parallel relationship, a granular material inlet through which granular material can be passed into the conditioner into an annular gap between the two discs, and a catch container for receiving the granular material which issues from the gap between the two discs by virtue of centrifugal force. According to the invention it is proposed that the catch container has an elastic curtain, wherein the curtain is spaced at least portion-wise from the catch container wall and limits the trajectory of the granular material issuing from the gap.

Grinding chamber of a grinding device for vegetal products suitable to form beverages, particularly roasted coffee beans
A grinding chamber of a grinding device for vegetal products suitable to form beverages includes, in its interior, a pair of grinders axially overlapping each other, one of which is rotatable with respect to the other which is kept stationary, a grinder support at least for the rotatable grinder, a motor member connected to the grinder support for setting the rotatable grinder in rotation. The grinding chamber is formed by a first bottom wall, perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the rotatable grinder, adjacent and below the support thereof, and at least a second cylindrical wall, connected axially to the first wall at the peripheral boundary thereof. The grinding chamber also includes a first opening for introducing the product to be ground and with a second opening for discharging the ground product. A labyrinth is provided between the peripheral boundary of the first wall and the grinder support.

Nautiloid shaped fan housing for a comminution mill
A mill includes a generally vertical, rotatable shaft having at least one set of cutter blades driven thereby and a fan assembly mounted on the shaft below the cutter blades in position to receive output therefrom. The fan assembly includes a fan disc secured to the shaft and rotatable therewith. A plurality of fan blades is secured to the fan disc in a generally radial orientation. A terminal portion of the mill includes a gradually, radially expanding outer wall configured in a volute form. The expanded outer wall decreases wear and increases efficiency of discharge and airflow through the mill.

Method for processing of electrical and electronic components to recover valuable materials
The subject of the present invention is a method for processing electrical and electronic components in order to recover valuable materials, such as the metals contained in printed circuit boards. According to this method, the electrical and electronic components are pre-shredded mechanically and then mixed with a liquid before they undergo wet milling (5).

Cyclonic shear plates and method
A cyclonic comminuting device includes a set of shearing plates that is adaptable to any colloid mill for improved efficiency and effectiveness in the production of all commodities including, but not limited to, asphalt or bitumen modification, tar, plastics, polymers, cosmetic processing and foods processing. The set of shearing plates includes a set of concave cutting edges. The set of concave cutting edges is applied to radial teeth of a rotor plate and/or a stator plate of the set of shearing plates forming a cyclonic flow pattern of a commodity as the commodity is passed through the comminuting device. The resulting turbulence created by the intersecting concave cutting edges on the rotor plate and the stator plate increases the effective hydraulic shear generated by the rotor plate and the stator plate resulting in greater particle pulverization and resulting in higher quality emulsions with reduced cost of materials required for production.
