Material Mixing System
The invention relates generally to a mixing system for mixing a dry material with a liquid. The mixing system includes a supply of dry material and a supply of liquid. An infinitely variable metering device meters the dry material into the liquid. A sensor senses the ratio of dry material to liquid. The sensor is operatively connected to the metering device to control the metering device to obtain a desired ratio of dry material to liquid. The dry material is dispensed volumetrically by volume of liquid to form the desired ratio of dry material to liquid.
High efficiency impact mill
An impact mill using hammers to strike particles and reduce their size as the material progresses through a grinding chamber. Baffles are provided in the grinding chamber, adjacent the interior wall thereof, concentrically about the drive shaft of the mill. The baffles are adjacent to the hammers in the area of hammer sweep and form a path for the material using the flow of air through the mill and the swing of hammers to keep material from falling within the mill and remaining in the hammer sweep area. A variable speed motor varies the rate of movement of the hammers to increase or decrease the rate of strike of hammers to more efficiently and effectively reduce the material passing therethrough. The baffles can be retrofit into existing mills and can be created in angular sections with the lining of the grinding chamber for modular installation and removal.

TANGENTIAL FLOW MATERIAL PROCESSING CHAMBER AND ASSOCIATED MATERIAL PROCESSING SYSTEM
A tangential feed material processing chamber for a material processing system has an axis, an axially extending inlet opening, and an axially extending outlet opening which is circumferentially spaced from the inlet opening. An inner surface of the chamber has a first portion extending circumferentially from a first side of the inlet opening to a first side of the outlet opening, and a second portion extending from a second side of inlet opening to a second side of the outlet opening. The first and second surface portions are formed with different surface finishes. A rotor is mounted along the axis to impact and direct material entering the inlet to flow tangentially about the axis to the outlet. A material processing system is also provided.

Self-centering magnetic masking system
A masking fixture for coating dishware includes a support base having a first ferromagnetic member and a contoured support surface configured for engagement with a lower contour of the dishware. A mask base includes a second ferromagnetic member. The second ferromagnetic member is magnetically attracted to the first ferromagnetic member. The mask base includes a mask guide. A mask includes a masking surface configured for engagement with the upper contour. The mask is moveably coupled to the mask guide for movement between an engaged position in which the masking surface is engageable with the upper contour and a disengaged position. The mask can be moved to the disengaged position to facilitate removal of the mask base from the dishware after a coating operation.
Restraining of service access to HSI crusher chamber
A restraint apparatus, a horizontal shaft crusher including the restraint apparatus and a method for controlling access to a crushing chamber of the horizontal shaft crusher. The first restraint has an operation mode and a service mode for respectively blocking and allowing opening of a service hatch for accessing the crushing chamber. A second restraint has an operation mode and a service mode for respectively not controlling the horizontal shaft and controlling the horizontal shaft. The first and second restraints are mutually exclusively usable in the operation mode so that the crushing chamber is not accessible through the service hatch unless the second restraint is controlling the horizontal shaft.
