Method and apparatus for recycling asphalt milings
Apparatus and method for recycling asphalt millings containing bitumen and stone. A milling tube is provided having an outer tube and an inner tube axially aligned with and substantially contained within the outer tube, the inner tube having a diameter less that a diameter of the outer tube to thus define a mixing space between the inner and outer tubes. At least one of the inner and outer tubes is adapted to rotate relative to the other. An inlet is provided to the mixing space to receive the asphalt millings. A plurality of inner tube projections project radially outward from a surface of the inner tube toward the outer tube, and a plurality of outer tube projections project radially inward from a surface of the outer tube toward the inner tube. The milling tube facilitates the separation of the asphalt millings into bitumen and stone as one of the inner and outer tubes rotates relative to the other. Preferably, at least one of the outer and inner tubes contains an abrasive coating on a surface thereof, the inner tube projections and outer tube projections are comprised of wire rope, and an inlet is provided in the outer tube through which cold air can be applied to the mixing space.
Dry preparation of kaolin in the production of HPA
A method for preparing raw kaolin (R) uses a milling and separating device (1) which has a milling section (13) and a first separating section (16). The raw kaolin (R) is a material mixture of at least kaolin as a first fraction (F1) and a second fraction (F2) which includes at least quartz. The raw kaolin (R) is supplied to the milling section (13), in which the first fraction (F1) is at least partly removed from the raw kaolin (R) by a grinding process, and the first fraction (F1) is then separated from the second fraction (F2) in the first separating section (16).

Separator, separator mill and method for separating a gas-solids mixture
A separator having a separator housing, a separator wheel arranged inside the separator housing and having an axis of rotation (X), and a guide vane assembly arranged in the separator housing, an annular space being provided between the guide vane assembly and the separator housing radially (R) perpendicular to the axis of rotation (X). In order to increase separation performance, a peripheral annular gap is provided in the vertical direction between the guide vane assembly and a cover.
Vertical roller mill
A vertical roller mill includes a housing, a chute that supplies materials to be grinded to a center portion of the housing, a grinder that is provided below the chute and grinds the materials to be grinded, an exhaust pipe that is provided above the grinder, a transport mechanism that forms an air flow for transporting, to the exhaust pipe, grinded materials grinded by the grinder, and a flow-constricting flow path provided between the grinder and the exhaust pipe and narrows a flow path area for the air flow, in which the flow-constricting flow path is formed between a first flow-constricting ring provided in the center portion of the housing and a second flow-constricting ring provided to protrude from the housing toward the center portion of the housing.
Method for operating a multi-cyclone for the separation of fine and very fine grain as well as a multi-cyclone
The invention relates to a multi-cyclone and to a method for operating such a multi-cyclone for separating fine material and very fine material. In this context, a multi-cyclone according to the invention has multiple individual cyclones which are of essentially identical construction and which are housed in a housing that has an upper and a lower chamber. Via a supply into the lower chamber it is possible to introduce in a targeted manner cyclone regulating air which can be used to set the quantity, the fineness and/or the purity of the material separated by means of the multi-cyclone.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECYCLING ASPHALT MILINGS

Rotary classifier and vertical mill
The present invention improves the even distribution of a powder to a pulverized coal pipe. A rotary classifier including: a rotary shaft rotatably supported around a rotational axis extending in a vertical direction; a frame body supported by the rotary shaft and including an opening on the outer periphery of the frame body; a plurality of powder outlets provided along the rotation direction and opening on the upper section of the frame body; a plurality of blades extending in the vertical direction at the opening on the outer periphery of the frame body and provided along the rotation direction; and an annular member that serves as a constricting section provided so as to narrow the interval from the blades to the rotary shaft.
Vertical roll mill
A vertical roll mill may include a grinding plate, a grinding roll, a nozzle ring that horizontally surrounds the grinding plate, an air feed apparatus disposed under the nozzle ring, a discharge element disposed below or in a region of the air feed apparatus, and a bypass apparatus disposed in the nozzle ring. The bypass apparatus may form a connection between the nozzle ring and the discharge element. Further, the bypass apparatus can discharge particles that are difficult to grind, for example, ductile particles such as iron particles, from the grinding process. In some examples, the bypass apparatus includes a gas-impermeable outer skin in the region of the air feed apparatus.
System, method and apparatus for controlling the flow distribution of solid particles
A deflector ring includes a generally annular body, and a plurality of static straightening vanes arranged interior to the body, the vanes dividing the body into a plurality of substantially equal sections. The vanes are configured to straighten a swirling flow of solid particles as they enter the annular body, and to divide the swirling flow into a plurality of straightened flows that are communicated to a turret positionable above the deflector ring.
