MILLING BOWL
The invention relates to a milling bowl, in particular for vertical mills, and to the production of such a milling bowl. Milling bowls of this type have hitherto typically been produced from a cast material as a single piece. Due to the increasing size of said milling bowls, said milling bowls can generally only be transported to the destinations by means of special transport. Therefore, the invention creates a milling bowl consisting of assemblies, wherein a double-walled center part formed from two housing shells is provided between a head flange and a base flange. Said center part forms a cavity, which is filled with a curable casting compound such that a rotationally rigid milling bowl is present after the casting compound has been cured.
VERTICAL ROLLER MILL
A vertical roller mill includes a housing, a chute that supplies materials to be grinded to a center portion of the housing, a grinder that is provided below the chute and grinds the materials to be grinded, an exhaust pipe that is provided above the grinder, a transport mechanism that forms an air flow for transporting, to the exhaust pipe, grinded materials grinded by the grinder, and a flow-constricting flow path provided between the grinder and the exhaust pipe and narrows a flow path area for the air flow, in which the flow-constricting flow path is formed between a first flow-constricting ring provided in the center portion of the housing and a second flow-constricting ring provided to protrude from the housing toward the center portion of the housing.
Bearing element suitable for supporting a grinding table in a roller mill
A bearing element suitable for supporting a grinding disk in a roller mill, comprising a plate-like or disk-shaped base element, an annular disk and a spacer element, wherein the annular disk is disposed substantially parallel to the base element and at a distance from the base element, and is connected at its bottom using an annular spacer element with the base element, and the annular disk has means on its upper side for receiving the axial bearing segments, whereby the spacer element is designed as an annular strip extending in the axial direction and has a plurality of spaced-apart arches in the circumferential direction, whose openings point towards the base element.
PULVERIZING DEVICE, THROAT FOR PULVERIZING DEVICE, AND PULVERIZED-COAL FIRED BOILER
A pulverizing device includes: a housing; a pulverization table configured to rotate inside the housing; and a throat, disposed inside the housing on a radially outer side of the pulverization table, for forming an upward air flow. The throat includes: an inner ring extending along an outer periphery of the pulverization table; an outer ring, disposed on a radially outer side of the inner ring so as to form an annular flow passage between the inner ring and the outer ring; and a plurality of throat vanes disposed between the inner ring and the outer ring. The following expressions are satisfied: 2.0L/d4.0; and 0.5H/d1.5, where H is a gap between the inner ring and the outer ring with respect to a radial direction, L is a length of the throat vanes, and d is a distance between adjacent two of the throat vanes,
CRUSHER FOR COMMINUTING CHIPS
A crusher for comminuting chips including a hopper for loading chips, a fine breaking mechanism for breaking the chips into fine chips, and a chip discharge. The chips loaded the hopper may include coarse particles. The fine breaking mechanism includes fixed external teeth and a rotary inner cutter head with blades. The fixed external teeth are arranged on at least two segments movable in such a way that they can be moved away from the cutter head when a coarse particle enters the fine breaking mechanism so the coarse particle can pass through the fine breaking mechanism. The segments of the fine breaking mechanism can assume a cleaning position in addition to the operating position, wherein, when the segments are in the cleaning position, an intermediate space is provided between a base plate and a cover plate allowing access in the horizontal direction to the cutter head.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING A MATERIAL BED DEPTH IN A PULVERIZER MILL
A system for adjusting a depth of a material bed in a pulverizer mill is provided. The system includes a rotatable bowl, an extension ring, and an extension mechanism. The rotatable bowl has a surface operative to support the material bed while the bowl rotates such that particles of the material bed are pulverized against the surface by one or more grinding rollers of the pulverizer mill. The extension ring is disposed about a circumference of the rotatable bowl extending away from the surface and defines a depth of the material bed. The extension mechanism adjusts at least one of the extension ring and the rotatable bowl while the rotatable bowl rotates. Adjusting at least one of the extension ring and the rotatable bowl via the extension mechanism moves the extension ring in relation to the surface so as to adjust the depth of the material bed.
Vertical bowl mill for producing coarse ground particles
A bowl mill for producing coarse ground particles has a substantially closed body, a bowl assembly, a plurality of grinding rolls, and a coarse particle transport enabling area. The substantially closed body has an interior area. The bowl assembly includes a rotatable grinding table mounted for rotation in a direction of rotation in the interior area. The grinding table has a grinding surface thereon. The plurality of grinding rolls are positioned proximate the grinding surface. The grinding rolls and the grinding surface define a grinding area therebetween. The coarse particle transport enabling area is located radially outward from the grinding area. The coarse particle transport enabling area is configured to allow the coarse particles to freely exit the grinding area and to mitigate the coarse particles from being circulated back into the grinding area.
BEARING ELEMENT SUITABLE FOR SUPPORTING A GRINDING TABLE IN A ROLLER MILL
The present invention relates to a bearing element suitable for supporting a grinding disk in a roller mill, comprising a plate-like or disk-shaped base element, an annular disk and a spacer element, wherein the annular disk is disposed substantially parallel to the base element and at a distance from the base element, and is connected at its bottom using an annular spacer element with the base element, and the annular disk has means on its upper side for receiving the axial bearing segments, whereby the spacer element is designed as an annular strip extending in the axial direction and has a plurality of spaced-apart arches in the circumferential direction, whose openings point towards the base element.
A WEAR-RESISTANT BODY AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A wear-resistant body for crushing particulate material in the cement or mineral industries includes a body (1) provided with a plurality of highly wear-resistant inserts (3) embedded in complementary recesses (2) provided in the surface region (6) of the body. A ductile attachment part (4) is arranged within each recess (2), the ductile attachment part (4) being deformable by elastic or plastic deformation and the highly wear-resistant insert (3) being secured in the recess (2) by the ductile attachment part (4) after deformation. In some embodiments the ductile attachment part (4) is in the form of a ring or sleeve. A method for producing such a wear-resistant body is also provided.
Conjugate anvil hammer mill
A crushing mill with an internal ring inside an external ring is disclosed. In some embodiments, the inner ring has protrusions that fit within pockets in the outer ring such that as the rings rotate rock or other materials may be crushed between the protrusions and pockets of the inner and outer rings, respectively. In some embodiments, the inner and outer rings each have surface protrusions such that rock or other materials may be crushed between the inner and outer rings as they rotate. In some embodiments, the inner ring has a circumferential ridge that fits within a circumferential groove of the outer ring such that rock or other materials may be crushed between the rings. In some embodiments the rings operate at differential speeds with respect to each other to induce shear forces on the material to be crushed.
