Liner assembly for ore grinding mill

The present invention provides a system and method for more efficient utilization of comminution mills. Sensors are provided in the liners placed within the mill shell. The sensors may include RFID tags, liner wear profile sensors (e.g., such as an ultrasonic sensor), an inertial sensor (preferably included both an inclinometer and an accelerometer, and an acoustic sensor, among others. When the liners are installed in the shell, the RFID tag is used to register the location of the liner within the shell. In operation, the information provided by the sensors is collected by a data transmission unit and sent by transmitter over the air to a computer having an antenna and receiver for such data. The data is correlated and the data is reviewable in real time while the mill is in running.

Cement production

The present invention provides a method and system for manufacturing cement wherein ground particles of cement and calcium sulfate are subjected to infrared sensors, laser sensors, or both, so that emanated, irradiated, transmitted, and/or absorbed energy having wavelengths principally within the range of 700 nanometers to 1 millimeter can be monitored and compared to stored data previously obtained from ground cement and sulfate particles and preferably correlated with stored strength, calorimetric, or other data values, such that adjustments can be made to the mill processing conditions, such as the form or amounts of calcium sulfate (e.g., gypsum, plaster, anhydride), or cement additive levels. The strength and other properties of cement can be thus adjusted, and its quality can be more uniform.

Split pulp chamber insert assembly

A split pulp chamber insert assembly formed for installation in a pulp chamber on a discharge end wall in a grinding mill rotatable about an axis thereof. The split pulp chamber insert assembly include two or more insert elements, configured to cooperate to form a lining covering one or more portions of pulp chamber surfaces that partially define the pulp chamber in which the insert elements are positioned. The split pulp chamber assembly also includes a number of fasteners, for securing the insert elements in predetermined positions in the pulp chamber relative to each other to form the lining that covers the one or more portions of the pulp chamber surfaces.

PROCESSING OF SOLID MICRON SIZED PARTICLES FOR RAPID DEPOSITION ON SUBSTRATE SURFACES WITH UNIFORM PARTICLE DISTRIBUTION

This application relates generally to a method and apparatus to deposit particles onto one or more coupons, and harvest particles from one or more coupons, which may beneficially provide a more uniform or localized distribution of particles over a specified area on each coupon. The application relates to a method and apparatus for depositing particles onto one or more coupons using a sieve. The application also relates to a method and apparatus for depositing particles onto one or more coupons using a dust storm. The particle loadings achieved on each coupon or across an individual coupon may be substantially uniform. The application further relates to a laser-based method and apparatus for transferring particles deposited at localized points on a source coupon to a different substrate for further use.

System for in-line estimation of load distribution in a rotary mill

A system and method for online estimate of the filling level of balls and loading level in a rotary mills, comprising a set of vibration sensors unit, associated with a magnet to transmit data signals via an antenna to a receiver that receives data signals from the antenna, an antenna, wherein the receiver is connected via optical fiber to a signal processor, which in turn communicates to a control server via a UTP cable, wherein the control server also obtains data from the mill operation to determine the best filling of balls and load; and the operating method.

Monitor and Control of Tumbling Mill Using Measurements of Vibration, Electrical Power Input and Mechanical Power

An apparatus monitors a tumble mill and includes at least two vibration sensors mounted on a first main bearing and at least two vibration sensors mounted on a second main bearing of the mill. Sensors may be disposed radially with respect to the bearing. A vibration sensor is also connected to a thrust bearing of the mill oriented in a direction parallel to the rotational axis of the shell of the mill. A signal analyzer receives and analyzes signals from all vibration monitors on the bearings and displays an operating condition of the tumble mill. Additional vibration sensors may be mounted on the shell, and sensors may be provided to sense electrical power input and mechanical power output of the motors. In operation, the mill is loaded with a standard charge and operated at a standard rotational rate. The sensor data is analyzed and displayed when the mill is operating.

METHOD FOR SEPARATING DIFFERENT CONSTITUENTS OF A CONCRETE FOR DECONSTRUCTION

A method of separating different constituents of a fine fraction that is produced in a prior method for separating a concrete for deconstruction. The method allows the reuse of these different constituents in the production of a new cement and/or of a new concrete, the fine fraction including sand and at least 30% by mass of hydrated cement paste.

SAMPLE CRUSHING DEVICE

A sample crushing device is provided having a function of stably absorbing vibration of a support member supporting a sample container and vibration of other members which accompanies the vibration. When a rotating shaft 20 is rotated and driven by rotation driving mechanism, revolving motions of a first support member 12 around an axis line C1 of a rotating shaft 20 and rotational movement of an inclined shaft 10 around an axis line C2 arm restrained by a base 1 via first elastic members 14. As a result, the first support member 12 and sample containers 41 are vibrated in plural directions, and samples housed in the sample containers 41 are crushed by crushing media.

Vibration of the first support member 12 in plural directions is absorbed by a base 1 via the first elastic members 14 coupled with each of the first support member 12 and the base 1.
