Carpet Recycling Process and Method
A carpet recycling method is disclosed. In a toroidal flow pulper, pieces of carpet are disintegrated in a quantity of liquid to form a slurry of fibrous carpet materials and carpet ash. At least a portion of the fibrous carpet materials are separated from the slurry, and the separated fibrous carpet materials are dried. At least a portion of the carpet ash is isolated from the slurry, and the isolated carpet ash is dried. Thus, a first output comprising dried separated fibrous carpet materials is produced, and a second output comprising dried carpet ash is produced.
Hard drive dismantling system
A system and method for reclaiming select components containing rare earth metals of electronic media electronic storage devices such as hard disk drives, solid state drives and hybrid hard drives and destroying the data containing components thereof comprising first devices to loosen various components of the storage device, the components including the components containing the rare earth elements and the data containing portions. Second devices are provided for removing components from the storage device. A holding chassis receives the storage device, and moves the storage device for engagement with the first and second devices. A section is provided for destroying the data containing portion of the electric storage device when it is removed from the storage device.

Grinding device for a high grinding rate and for a variable distribution of ground particle sizes
A grinding device including a rotor, mounted in rotational manner around an axle and having a plurality of blades extending radially relative to the axle. A sieve has a plurality of openings, with the sieve being mounted around the rotor so as to turn around the axle in the direction opposite the direction of rotation of the rotor. The rotor and sieve each has a height extending parallel to the axle and a width extending perpendicular to the axle wherein the width is between 1 mm and 20 mm. The rotation of the rotor and of the sieve is adjustable so as to reach a difference in circumferential speed between the rotor and the sieve between 100 m/s and 400 m/s, so as to reduce the average initial size of the crushed matter by a factor of 5 to 20.
System and Method for Food Waste Decomposition
Machines, processes and methods in relation to processing of waste, in particular food waste or organic waste are provided. Some embodiments of described machines, processes and methods include a drum to receive waste, mixing blades to process waste, a source of air that is rich in reactive oxygen species, an air flow system comprising a heater to circulate air through the drum, and sensors provided in the machine to monitor operating parameters. A control system is configured to control operation of the machine.
Orchard sanitation implement
An orchard sanitation implement disposes of unharvested nuts which may otherwise be utilized as habitat and food for navel orangeworms. Unharvested nuts are lifted from the orchard floor and delivered to a storage bin of the implement. Once received within the storage bin, the unharvested nuts are separated from other orchard debris by a looping belt which allows unharvested nuts to fall through, but other orchard debris is conveyed outside of the storage bin for deposit either into a container or back to the orchard floor. The unharvested nuts fall through openings in the looping belt, through an outlet at the bottom of the storage bin and into a shredding unit attached to the outlet. The shredding unit shreds and pulverizes the unharvested nuts into a composition which is too small to be utilized by navel orangeworms for habitat or a source of food.

System and method for infusion and desiccation of foodstuffs
A food recycler includes a base, at least one air intake opening, a gearbox, and a motor. An airflow component is on top of the motor. A fan is configured on the airflow component and a filter is positioned at an output port of the airflow component. A bucket receptacle is configured on the gearbox. The fan and the filter are configured adjacent to an upper portion of the bucket receptacle. A casing has a lower rim complimentary to a base rim. The casing has an interior volume complimentary to a fan module and an interior volume complimentary to an air filter module. A control switch and lid latch are configured in the casing and next to each other. A lid is hinged to the casing such that air flows from a bucket through the lid to the fan and back from the filter to the lid and out an exhaust vent in the lid.
CARTON REDUCER/BAG OPENER DEVICE
A package reducing device includes a hopper having lap over rings, first and second main shafts which traverse the hopper, first and second pipe shafts are secured to the main shafts, where the ends of the pipe shafts are positioned interior to the lap over rings. First and second rings extend from the pipe shafts having recessed openings to position a fastener interior to the surface of the rings. Tooth plates having teeth are attached to the rings. A first motor rotates the one pipe shaft at a first rate and a second motor rotates another pipe shaft at a slower rate of rotation. The pipe shafts are rotated in an inboard direction, and the motors include variable frequency drives. The teeth reduce the size of packaging and food transported inside of the packaging during use of the invention.
Cutting Blade Assembly
Embodiments of the invention provide a cutting blade assembly operably coupleable to a fluid pump. The cutting blade assembly comprises a cutting plate and a cutting hub. The cutting plate may have a front axial surface, an opening, and a plurality of cutting features. Each of the plurality of cutting features may define a pair of cutting edges. The cutting hub may be disposed at least partially within the opening of the cutting plate and may have a cutting arm and fin adjacent to the front axial surface. The cutting arm may define an arcuate front surface having a leading edge. When the cutting plate and the cutting hub are rotated relative to each other, the leading edge of the cutting arm may pass adjacent to the plurality of cutting features so that the relative rotation of the cutting plate and the cutting hub defines a cutting action between the cutting arm and each cutting feature.
