Wall mount furniture with cable concealment
Furniture systems, such as desks, that can be stand-alone wall mounted, wall mounted with furniture positioned in front, or attached/mounted to furniture, and that also accommodate differing types of computers or electronics and wires in an efficient and visually appealing manner. Specifically, the furniture includes a concealment pocket which provides that cabling and associated structures can be hidden above the floor.
Traveling harness system
A traveling harness system is provided for an appliance to maintain electrical connections between the appliance and a drawer, while allowing the drawer to move. Wiring harness guides formed in the drawer force the wiring harness to maintain a predictable and desirable loop radius to reduce stress on the wiring harness, which prevents the wiring harness from prematurely wearing.
CABLE ROUTING ARRANGEMENT AS WELL AS A FURNITURE ITEM AND FRAME WITH SUCH A MECHANISM
A cable routing arrangement for routing cables in an orderly fashion on a height-adjustable furniture item comprises a rigid first routing element, a rigid second routing element, and a deformable connecting element. The first routing element has a first bearing arrangement, by means of which it can be pivotally connected to a top part of the furniture item. The second routing element has a second bearing arrangement, by means of which it can be pivotally connected to a base part of the furniture item. The first routing element and the second routing element can be interconnected via the connecting element in such a way that they are movable.
Mounting system for arranging electric devices, for example, especially in switchgear cabinets
A mounting system (1) includes in switchgear cabinets a horizontal mounting strip (3) with a front face to which an electrical device (2) can be secured. The mounting strip (3) has a locking flange (63) on its rear side lying opposite the device (2) that is to be secured. The locking flange, onto which another component (65) of the mounting system (1) can be directly locked or can be indirectly secured by a lockable adapter element (66), extends in the longitudinal direction of the mounting strip (3).
CABLE SUPPORT SYSTEM HAVING MULTI-POSITION PARTITION
A system for improved cable management is disclosed in several example embodiments. The disclosed embodiments describe example structures for supporting cables, for example telecommunications and fiber optic cables, within a cable storage cabinet. The disclosed embodiments also describe a door for a cable storage cabinet. The example door includes a hinge control and handle system which allows the door to be opened along either side to therefore allow the door to be opened either way from a single handle. The disclosed embodiments also describes an indicator system which informs a user when the door for the cable storage cabinet is in either a closed position or an open position. Each of these embodiments improves the utility and safety of cable management, particularly within cable storage cabinets.
POLE ARM SYSTEM WITH STACKABLE MOUNT CUP
A pole arm system is disclosed which comprises a pole mount cup that may be reconfigured and stacked in different configurations so as to form different configurations of a pole mount assembly for supporting various arms and electronic devices. The pole mount assembly further comprises, in some embodiments, a pole collar assembly for engaging a dimpled pole in a fixed relationship. Multiple rotation stop mechanisms for use in joints of a pole arm system are also disclosed.
PORTABLE FURNITURE POWER OUTLET
A portable furniture power outlet includes a main body having a larger cross dimensional thickness along a top end, and a smaller cross dimensional thickness along a bottom end to form a wedge between two cushions of any piece of furniture. The main body includes a plurality of AC and DC receptacles that are positioned in either a vertical or horizontal orientation. A main body shoulder and a plurality of ridges increase the static friction of the device to prevent movement during use. A cable management system is positioned along the outside surface of the main body, and a transformer that performs wireless device charging is provided within the main body.
Structures for Securing Broadcast Cabling and Connectors
A structure for securing broadcast cables and connectors includes a rack mounted enclosure frame having an inner facing surface surrounding a cavity, wherein a rear side of the rack mounted enclosure defines a plurality of isolation plate mounts and a front side of the rack mounted enclosure defines an open-ended side; a rack mounted panel defining a plurality of isolation plate mounts, the rack mounted panel being sized and configured for engaged abutment with the open-ended front side of the rack mounted enclosure, and wherein each of the plurality of isolation plate mounts are angled relative to the front side of the rack mounted enclosure frame; and the rack mounted panel including a top section and a bottom section, and wherein the top and bottom sections join together at a convex angle.
Height adjustable support surface and system for encouraging human movement and promoting wellness
A system for adjusting the height of a workstation for use by a user, the system comprising a frame, a worktop having an upper work surface, the worktop being vertically slidably attached to said frame and selectably adjustable in elevation to different positions including at least a first standing position and at least a first sitting position, at least one variable speed electrically-powered vertical-displacement drive mechanism connected between said frame and said worktop, said drive mechanism being arranged to selectively vertically displace the worktop with respect to said frame when said drive mechanism is activated and a processor controlling the drive mechanism to move the worktop to different positions, the processor controlling the drive mechanism to control the rate of worktop height displacement at various speeds including at least a first speed and a second speed that is different than the first speed, the processor controlling the rate of worktop height displacement at the first speed sometimes and at the second speed at other times.
Table construction
A leg assembly for a table includes an elongated body portion having a wireway extending along a length of the body portion and configured to receive electrical power and communication lines therein, one or more wire retaining assemblies located within the wireway of the body portion, each of the one or more wire retaining assemblies movable between a first position, wherein electrical power and communication lines are retained within the wireway, and a second position, wherein electrical power and communication lines may be readily removed from within the wireway, and wherein the one or more wire retaining assemblies remain at least partially within the wireway in the first position and in the second position, and a cover member releasably connected to the one or more wire retaining assemblies.
