FURNITURE SYSTEM

A furniture system includes a furniture member including at least one slot, the furniture member having a first portion defining a first width of the at least one slot and second portion defining a second width of the at least one slot, the second width greater than the first width, a pair of support members each having a pair of recesses, each of the support members rotatable between a first position where the support member may be inserted into or removed from the at least one slot, and a second position where the recesses of the support member engage the first portion of the furniture member preventing removal of the support member from the at least one slot, and a screen member engaging the pair of support members thereby preventing the support members from rotating from the second position to the first position.

Wall-mounted cable housing assemblies

Cable housing assemblies include frames and cable carriers slidably mounted to channels provided at edges of the frames. The cable carriers may house or support male or female connectors to the cables, which may be power or communications cables (e.g., Ethernet cables) that extend from the connectors within the cable carriers into the channels, and through voids within the frames to power sources or communications systems. The cable carriers are releasably inserted into channels at edges of the frames, and permitted to slide in either direction (e.g., up or down) to various positions within such channels, in order to make power or communications services available at such positions. When installed in association with a shelving unit, e.g., between a backerboard and shelves, the cable carriers may be used to provide power or communications services available to such shelves provided at any height within the shelving unit.

FURNITURE SYSTEM

A furniture system includes an elongated chase having a body extending from a first end to a second end. The body has an upper surface and a lower surface. A first leg is coupled to the lower surface of the body and a second leg is coupled to the lower surface of the body and spaced apart from the first leg. Power cables are positioned within a cavity of the body, the power cables configured to connect to a building's power supply. A modular power unit is coupled to the lower surface of the body. The modular power unit includes a power outlet electrically coupled to the power cables.

FURNITURE ITEM WITH CONCEALED POWER LINE

A furniture item includes a main body with an electrical device installed thereon. A power line electrically connects the electrical device to an external power source and is concealed in a power line channel formed in one or more of the walls of the main body. A switch may be connected to the main body and electrically connected to the electrical device, for controlling the electrical device. A main body door moveable from a first position to a second position may trigger the switch to enable and disable electrical connection between the external power source and the electrical device.

Shelf support shroud and method of use

A shelf unit comprises a shelf and a support shroud. The support shroud defines a shroud concavity extending from the upper wall perimeter edge to the lower wall perimeter edge and bounded by the left and right side edges. The shelf is connected to the support shroud at a position disposed over the upper wall perimeter edge. The shelf optionally has a shelf aperture in communication with the shroud concavity. The shelf unit may be mounted with the shroud covering a wall outlet and an electronic device, disposed on the shelf, has cabling which passes through the shelf aperture and into the shroud concavity. In this application the cabling is contained in the shroud concavity.

Cable tube for furniture

The present invention relates to a cable tube (10) for furniture (18). The cable tube is composed of the combination of a foldable and extensible helical cylindrical spring (11), whose coils (13) are applied and constrained to a sleeve (12) made of flexible material, said tube (10) being provided at opposite ends with a ballasted base (15) for resting on the floor, and connection means (17) to said furniture (18).

TRAVELING HARNESS SYSTEM

A traveling harness system is provided for an appliance to maintain electrical connections between the appliance and a drawer, while allowing the drawer to move. Wiring harness guides formed in the drawer force the wiring harness to maintain a predictable and desirable loop radius to reduce stress on the wiring harness, which prevents the wiring harness from prematurely wearing.

Structures for securing broadcast cabling and connectors

A structure for securing broadcast cables and connectors includes a wall mounted enclosure including a front section, a middle section and rear section, the front and middle sections surrounding a first cavity and the middle and rear sections surrounding a second cavity; a panel having a first and second wings joined together at a convex angle and defining a plurality of isolation plate mounts; the panel being selectively interchangeable between first and second configurations, wherein the first configuration is defined by the panel being selectively attached such that the convex angle faces the first cavity and the second configuration is defined by the panel being selectively attached such that the convex angle faces the second cavity; an internal lock system for selectively accessing the second cavity; and the internal lock system being accessible from within the first cavity.

Camera stand having constant resistance for a portion of a range of motion along an axis of rotation

This application discloses a stand assembly that includes a receiving element for physically receiving a module, and a base assembly for supporting the receiving element. The receiving element further includes a module holding structure, an extended portion, and a first fastener structure coupled to an end of the extended portion. The base assembly includes a base, and a second fastener structure coupled to the base at a joint and configured to mate with the first fastener structure. The first fastener structure and the joint are configured to respectively provide a first degree of freedom of motion and a second degree of freedom of motion of the receiving element with respect to the base. The movement of the receiving element at the first degree of freedom has substantially consistent resistance through first part of a first full range of motion associated with the first degree of freedom of motion.

Height adjustable support surface and system for encouraging human movement and promoting wellness

A table assembly comprising a worktop, a frame supporting the worktop, an integrated drive subassembly, a memory storing defined conditions, a control system including a user input control interface and at least one processor, the input control interface for receiving user commands to initiate changes in worktop height, the processor programmed to perform the steps of a) at any time, respond to direct manual user input via the interface to change the worktop height and b) enable a reminder function to periodically change the worktop height by i) monitoring worktop use, ii) comparing worktop use to at least one of the defined conditions, iii) after the at least one condition is met, providing a signal to the user to change the worktop height to a different position, iv) monitoring for user input via the interface to change the worktop height and (v) upon each of the worktop height being changed prior to providing a signal to the user to change the worktop height and the worktop height being changed subsequent to providing a signal to the user to change the worktop height, repeating steps (i) through (v).
