Camera Stand Having Constant Resistance for a Portion of a Range of Motion along an Axis of Rotation
This application discloses a stand assembly that includes a receiving element for physically receiving a module, and a base assembly for supporting the receiving element. The receiving element further includes a module holding structure, an extended portion, and a first fastener structure coupled to an end of the extended portion. The base assembly includes a base, and a second fastener structure coupled to the base at a joint and configured to mate with the first fastener structure. The first fastener structure and the joint are configured to respectively provide a first degree of freedom of motion and a second degree of freedom of motion of the receiving element with respect to the base. The movement of the receiving element at the first degree of freedom has substantially consistent resistance through first part of a first full range of motion associated with the first degree of freedom of motion.
CABINET INCLUDING DOOR LOCKING INDICATOR
A system for improved cable management is disclosed in several example embodiments. The disclosed embodiments describe example structures for supporting cables, for example telecommunications and fiber optic cables, within a cable storage cabinet. The disclosed embodiments also describe a door for a cable storage cabinet. The example door includes a hinge control and handle system which allows the door to be opened along either side to therefore allow the door to be opened either way from a single handle. The disclosed embodiments also describes an indicator system which informs a user when the door for the cable storage cabinet is in either a closed position or an open position. Each of these embodiments improves the utility and safety of cable management, particularly within cable storage cabinets.
Cable routing arrangement as well as a furniture item and frame with such a mechanism
A cable routing arrangement for routing cables in an orderly fashion on a height-adjustable furniture item is disclosed that includes a rigid first routing element, a rigid second routing element, and a deformable connecting element. The first routing element has a first bearing arrangement that is configured to be pivotally connected to a top part of the furniture item. The second routing element has a second bearing arrangement that is configured to be pivotally connected to a base part of the furniture item. The first routing element and the second routing element can be interconnected via the connecting element in such a way that they are movable.
Pole arm system with stackable mount cup
A pole arm system is disclosed which comprises a pole mount cup that may be reconfigured and stacked in different configurations so as to form different configurations of a pole mount assembly for supporting various arms and electronic devices. The pole mount assembly further comprises, in some embodiments, a pole collar assembly for engaging a dimpled pole in a fixed relationship. Multiple rotation stop mechanisms for use in joints of a pole arm system are also disclosed.
IMPROVED CABLE TUBE FOR FURNITURE
The present invention relates to a cable tube (10) for furniture (18). The cable tube is composed of the combination of a foldable and extensible helical cylindrical spring (11), whose coils (13) are applied and constrained to a sleeve (12) made of flexible material, said tube (10) being provided at opposite ends with a ballasted base (15) for resting on the floor, and connection means (17) to said furniture (18).
Structures for securing broadcast cabling and connectors
A structure for securing broadcast cables and connectors includes a rack mounted enclosure frame having an inner facing surface surrounding a cavity, wherein a rear side of the rack mounted enclosure defines a plurality of isolation plate mounts and a front side of the rack mounted enclosure defines an open-ended side; a rack mounted panel defining a plurality of isolation plate mounts, the rack mounted panel being sized and configured for engaged abutment with the open-ended front side of the rack mounted enclosure, and wherein each of the plurality of isolation plate mounts are angled relative to the front side of the rack mounted enclosure frame; and the rack mounted panel including a top section and a bottom section, and wherein the top and bottom sections join together at a convex angle.
FURNITURE SYSTEM
A furniture system includes an elongated chase having a body extending from a first end to a second end. The body has an upper surface and a lower surface. A first leg is coupled to the lower surface of the body and a second leg is coupled to the lower surface of the body and spaced apart from the first leg. Power cables are positioned within a cavity of the body, the power cables configured to connect to a building's power supply. A modular power unit is coupled to the lower surface of the body. The modular power unit includes a power outlet electrically coupled to the power cables.
WORKSTATIONS WITH CABLE ROUTING SYSTEM
A multiple-person workstation includes a plurality of horizontal work surfaces. The multiple-person workstation further includes a power beam. The power beam includes two horizontal beams each defining a horizontal wire channel configured to port wires and at least one wire opening configured to receive at least one of the wires to be routed to one of the plurality of horizontal work surfaces. The power beam further includes a vertical beam configured to be connected between the two horizontal beams such that the two horizontal beams can form an adjustable angle based on connections between the two horizontal beams and the vertical beam.
RAIL SYSTEM FOR WORKSPACE WITH MODULAR COMPONENTS
A rail system for a workspace. The system may include at least one mounting mechanism and an elongated rail. Each mounting mechanism is configured for attachment to the rail and configured for attachment to an edge of, or a surface of, a table or desk, so that the mounting mechanism(s) support the rail relative to said surface. The elongated rail is configured to extend horizontally relative to and above the surface of the table or desk. The elongated rail has at least a front surface, a bottom surface/edge, and a back surface, as well as mounting slots. In some instances, a channel (or trough) is defined between the front and back surfaces, which extends between first and second ends of the elongated rail. The rail accommodates placement of electrical cords to/from a power source, for mounting components (e.g., clamps, brackets, release mechanisms) and/or for connecting accessories thereto.
