Pill Pulverizing Kit
A pill pulverizing kit is a system that contains, processes, and subsequently dispenses pills and similar hard medications. The system includes a tubular receptacle, a crushed-pill repository, and a plurality of pill-processing devices. The tubular receptacle is a container utilized as the primary housing for pills both before and after pulverizing, as well as the housing for the components involved in crushing and consumption. The crushed-pill repository is a curved indent that collects and contains crushed pill material until the user is prepared to consume or serve the pill powder. The plurality of pill-processing devices relates to a series of removable additions to the tubular receptacle that provide various functions, including pill pulverization and content dispensing and consumption. The plurality of pill-processing devices includes a lid for consumption, as well as an impact driving mechanism that generates power and force for pulverizing pills.
Tool-free indexable tooth with hermetic spring
A tree stump grinding wheel assembly includes a rotor having a plurality of holders distributed about its cutting periphery. Each holder has a neck in which resides a socket adapted to receive the shank of an indexable tooth. A head is attached to one end of the shank and screw threads are formed in its other end. The head has a plurality of flats configured to sequentially register with a forward shoulder on the neck. A hermetic spring is operatively disposed on the shank between a rearward face of the socket and a retention nut. The hermetic spring is made of elastomeric material and has a tapered nose that self-seats in a countersink at the rearward opening of the socket. The hermetic spring has an accordion-like bellows section. The bellows section can have a central annular bulge.
Method of producing a gypsum slurry for forming gypsum products and method of manufacturing a gypsum product
A method of producing a gypsum slurry for forming gypsum products, in particular gypsum boards, preferably gypsum paper boards, the method including the steps of: a) providing a gypsum paper product comprising a gypsum and a paper component, in particular a gypsum paper board, and/or broken parts thereof; b) wet grinding the gypsum paper product and/or the broken parts thereof containing at least parts of the paper component to form a wet ground gypsum paper component.
BONE GRINDER PROMOTING BONE OSTEOINDUCTIVITY
A bone grinder is provided herein. The bone grinder may have a grinding chamber, an intermediate zone, and a primary cutting element and a secondary cutting element. The intermediate zone may have a first wall and a second wall within the grinding chamber, and the intermediate zone may separate the primary cutting element from the secondary cutting element. The first wall and the second wall may slope inward such that a distance between the first wall and the second wall generally decreases from the primary cutting element to the secondary cutting element. The primary cutting element and the secondary cutting element may be positioned within the grinding chamber to sequentially perform primary cutting operations and secondary cutting operations on a bone. A drive mechanism may operatively engage the primary cutting element and the secondary cutting element.
Tire Downsizing Apparatus
Systems and methods for downsizing tires are disclosed. An automated downsizing apparatus comprises a cradle, mandrel table, cutting apparatus, and a control unit. A tire mounted on the cradle may be received by the movable and rotatable mandrel table, and positioned for engagement with the cutting apparatus. A user may customize a cutting configuration to be executed by the control unit. The control unit positions the mandrel table and cutting apparatus to remove portions from the tire, according to the cutting configuration. During operation, one or more system parameters may be monitored to determine compliance with the selected configuration, and the automated execution may be manually overridden.
Method of manufacturing hydrated lime
A method of providing highly reactive hydrated lime and the resultant lime hydrate where an initial lime feed comprising calcium and impurities is first ground to a particle-size distribution with relatively coarse particles. Smaller particles are then removed from this ground lime and the smaller particles are hydrated, allowed to mature in a damp state, and flash dried to form a hydrated lime, which is then milled to a significantly smaller particle size than that of the relatively coarse particles.
Iron ore concentration process with grinding circuit, dry desliming and dry or mixed (dry and wet) concentration
The present invention discloses an advantageous and effective process for the concentration of iron ores, which can be fully dry or mixed, part of the process being dry, part wet. The invention thereby improves process efficiency as a whole by increasing recovery of concentrators and increasing the useful life of the mines.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING BATTERY CELL CORES
The system for separating battery cell cores includes a cell core holder for receiving and holding a battery cell core. A cutter cuts an outer wrapping layer of the battery cell core to form an open loose end. A first roller rotates the battery cell core and a sheet opener engages the open loose end to unroll a laminate, which includes a cathode layer, an anode layer, and a polymer separator layer sandwiched therebetween. A pair of second rollers receive, grip and selectively drive movement of the laminate. A cathode breaker applies breaking force to the cathode layer to produce broken cathode layer pieces, which are then collected. An anode breaker then grasps and vibrates the laminate to produce broken anode layer pieces, which are also collected. Finally, a polymer separator layer cutter selectively cuts the polymer separator layer to produce cut polymer separator layer pieces, which are collected.
Apparatus and Method to Render Air Bag Inflators and Other Low Level Detonatable Devices Inert for Recycling
Detonable devices such as charged air bag inflators are fed to a shred tower at a controlled feed rate via a feed valve. Water spray and/or water baths in the shred tower prevent sparking and begin to solubilize chemicals while the inflators are fed to primary and optional secondary shredders respectively performing course and fine shreds. A sump receives the shredded material which continues to solubilize and separate chemicals from metal. A conveyor lifts solids from the sump. Dewatered solids are fed to a receiving box for metal scrap recycling.
System and method of bone processing
A system and method of processing bone is disclosed. A tissue separator is utilized to separate tissue comprising at least one of muscle, periosteum and connective tissue from bone in a safe, sterile and efficient manner. In one aspect, the particle reducer can include an impeller positioned with respect to a cutting surface on a drum. At least one of the impeller and the drum is rotated by a power source such that harvested tissue frictionally engages the cutting surface. In another aspect, a source of pressurized fluid can be directed at tissue to separate bone from non-bone tissue.
