A mounting system for mounting a display device to a surface, the mounting system adjustable in multiple degrees of freedom to selectively position and orientate the attached device relative to the mounting surface and/or other collocated display devices. According to various embodiments, a surface bracket is configured to attach to a mounting surface and an arm assembly operatively couples the surface bracket with a mount carriage. A mount bracket is movably coupled to the mount carriage and is selectively movable in a plane substantially parallel to the surface. A plurality of device bracket assemblies are coupled to the mount bracket. Each of the device bracket assemblies is selectively movable to translate, pivot and tilt the attached device.

An extension extends away from the attachment portion and includes one or more permanent magnets. When the mounting apparatus is in a mounted location on the display device, (i) a display-facing portion of the extension extends along and faces a rear surface of the display device; (ii) the one or more permanent magnets attract the extension to ferromagnetic material in the display device to magnetically hold the mounting apparatus in the mounted location; and (iii) the attachment portion holds the computing accessory body adjacent an outer edge of the display device.

When the supporting angle changes in a predetermined range, an end portion of the spring body is movably connected to the support bracket.

The invention relates to a monitor stand. Preferred embodiments are suited to providing height adjustment of a video screen above a work surface. The stand has an outer rod 2 and an inner rod 3. A handle 4 can be moved up and down within the outer rod 2 to move the inner rod 3 in corresponding fashion. The inner rod 3 can be locked at a selection of heights by turning a clasp 8 of the handle into one or other of a series of slots 6 in the outer pole. A connector 5 adapted to receive a video screen is secured to the inner pole so as to be height adjustable with the inner pole 3.

With this solution, after the display device is bung on the wall, the display device body and the display device body fixture will not be moved easily relative to the wall fixture due to the attracting magnets to thereby alleviate the risk of falling down from the wall fixture so as to improve the reliability of hanging the display device securely on the wall, and the installation procedure is simple and convenient.
