Sink disposal and metal sensor

An apparatus includes: a disposal unit; a control unit configured to stop operation of the disposal unit; and a metal detector coil and associated circuitry, the metal detector coil located such that waste passing into the disposal unit for shredding passes through the metal detector coil. The control unit is triggered to stop operation of the disposal unit upon the detection of metal passing through the metal detector coil.

Detecting passing of unintended objects through throat of under-sink disposal

An under-sink disposal unit includes a motor, a disposal chamber, and a disposal throat. The disposal throat extends from the disposal chamber to an opening in a top of the disposal unit and defines a passageway through which objects pass into the disposal chamber for grinding. The disposal unit further includes a coil assembly including an arrangement of coils. The arrangement of coils is used to detect the passing of a metallic object in the passageway through the disposal throat. Furthermore, the arrangement of coils includes at least one coil having a loop that is oriented with respect to an axis of the passageway through the disposal throat such that objects passing through the disposal throat into the disposal chamber pass by and proximate to, but do not pass through, such loop. Preferably DC injection braking is used to stop the motor upon detection of a metallic object.

Marine vessel with integrated plastic shredding and pelletizing system for ocean cleanup and repurposing into plastic asphalt

A marine vessel designed for the collection, shredding, and pelletizing of oceanic plastic waste. The vessel uses renewable energy sources such as solar panels and wind turbines to power onboard systems, including AI-enhanced sensors that detect and target high-density areas of plastic debris. Once collected, the plastic is shredded and processed into uniform plastic pellets optimized for use in plastic asphalt production. The vessel also includes storage compartments for the pellets and a crane system for transferring containers filled with pellets to adjacent vessels or shore-based transport. This integrated system addresses inefficiencies in traditional ocean cleanup methods by enabling immediate onboard processing, reducing transportation needs, and repurposing plastic waste into a valuable industrial resource, while significantly minimizing environmental impact through sustainable energy use.

ORGANIC GARBAGE AND KITCHEN WASTE PROCESSING ASSEMBLY

A processing assembly for processing kitchen organic garbage and waste of farms includes a tank with a grinder located therein. The grinder grinds the garbage and waste by blades and rotatable blades. A transition can is connected between the tank and a deodorant pool which has deodorant bacteria received therein to remove odors. A one-way filter is connected between the transition can and the deodorant pool. A vacuum pump is connected between the tank and the transition can to suck air in the tank to the deodorant pool and to separate water from the vapor air. The water is stored in the transition can. The volume and weight of the garbage and waste are reduced and no pollution is created to the air. Hard stuff from the organic waste is ground into small pieces without damage to the blades.

Proposed is a food waste disposal apparatus for automatically discharging food waste by compressing (naturally dewatering), cutting, and drying food waste. More specifically, proposed is a food waste disposal apparatus having a corrugated part provided at an input hole so that same can be bent in all directions, and thus construction is facilitated, and having, at a predetermined distance away from a drying drum that generates high heat, an exhaust fan for discharging internal air of a drying and discharging part, so as to minimize breakdown of the exhaust fan caused by high heat, and enable vibration and noise of the exhaust fan to be prevented.

MATERIAL PROCESSING DEVICE WITH VARIABLE OPERATING MECHANISM

A jaw crusher has an operating mechanism comprising a rotatable shaft coupled to a movable jaw in order to translate rotation of the shaft into oscillatory movement of the jaw. The shaft comprises a coupling portion by which the shaft is coupled to the movable part, wherein, in at least one configuration, a central axis of the coupling portion is parallel with the shaft axis and the coupling portion is eccentric with respect to the shaft axis. The coupling portion is configurable to adjust the location of the central axis with respect to the shaft axis in order to adjust the eccentricity of the coupling portion with respect to the shaft axis, thereby correspondingly adjusting the oscillatory movement imparted to the movable jaw.
