Furniture anchors and protectors
An apparatus that may anchor and/or protect furniture includes a compressible element and an adhesive material on opposite sides of the compressible element. The compressible element, which may comprise an expandable polyurethane foam, and the adhesive material may enable the apparatus to be secured to a piece of furniture and a wall and, when secured in position, to withstand pulling forces of at least about 50 pounds. Thus, the apparatus may prevent furniture from tilting and falling away from the wall. The adhesive material may also be removable from the surface of a wall while leaving substantially no residue or no residue on the surface of the wall. Methods for securing furniture to walls are also disclosed, as are apparatuses and methods for preventing furniture from damaging walls.
IN-RAIL ANTI-TIP BRACKET FOR MOBILE STORAGE SYSTEMS
An anti-tip assembly mounted to a movable carriage of a mobile storage system that is movable along the length of a channel member. The anti-tip assembly includes at least two anti-tip bracket assemblies that are each mounted below the movable carriage and are received within the channel member. Each anti-tip bracket assembly includes a mounting bracket secured to the carriage and an engagement bracket that includes a hook portion. The engagement bracket is laterally movable relative to the mounting bracket such that the location of the hook portion can vary during movement of the movable carriage. The engagement bracket and the mounting bracket are mounted to each other to allow for movement while also limiting lateral movement of the engagement bracket. The hook portion includes an engagement flange that contacts an engagement lip of the channel member to restrict tipping a storage unit supported on the carriage.
Furniture assembly and interlock kit thereof
A furniture assembly is provided and includes a cabinet body, a drawer and an interlock kit. The interlock kit includes a first fitting member, a second fitting member and an interlock mechanism. The first fitting member is detachably mounted on the cabinet body and has a first predetermined height. The second fitting member is detachably mounted on the drawer and has a second predetermined height. A predetermined gap is defined by a difference between the first predetermined height and the second predetermined height. The interlock mechanism is arranged on the first fitting member. The second fitting member can always be moved by the drawer to cause the interlock mechanism to be operated normally as along as the second fitting member is mounted at a position within a mounting range defined by the predetermined gap and a position of the first fitting member. Besides, a related interlock kit is also provided.
Slide rail mechanism
A slide rail mechanism is configured to a cabinet. The slide rail mechanism includes a first rail assembly, a second rail assembly and a working member. The first and second assemblies are arranged on the cabinet. The working member is shiftable with respect to the cabinet. When a second rail of the first rail assembly is opened with respect to a first rail, the working member is moved in a transverse direction for preventing a fourth rail of the second rail assembly to be opened from a retracted position with respect to a third rail.
Slide rail mechanism and adjustment device thereof
An adjustment device of a slide rail mechanism includes a base, a driving member and an adjusting member. The adjusting member is arranged on the base. The adjusting member is configured to be adjusted for moving the driving member. The adjustment device can be used with a working member to form an interlock mechanism. The interlock mechanism only allows a rail of one of the slide rail assemblies of the slide rail mechanism to be opened.
STABILIZER SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING TIPPING OF FURNITURE
A stabilizer system for controlling a tipping of a furniture includes at least one stabilizer assembly coupled to a wall and including a telescopic rod configured to telescopically extend and retract and an engagement structure coupled to the telescopic rod, and configured to be arranged in an expanded configuration and a stowed configuration. In the expanded configuration, the engagement structure is arranged to contact the furniture. A plurality of weight sensors is coupled to the furniture and configured to detect a weight imbalance of the furniture. A controller is configured to extend the telescopic rod to engage the at least one stabilizer assembly with the furniture to prevent the tipping of the furniture in response to the detected weight imbalance being above a predefined limit.
Anti-tip furniture device
An anti-tip furniture device is provided. The device prevents furniture with drawers from tipping due to all, or most drawers being opened at the same time. The device is primarily comprised of at least one piece of furniture which is comprised of at least one drawer with at least one eyelet, at least one line, and at least one counterweight. The drawer of the device has an eyelet positioned on the rear wall of the drawer. The line attaches to the exterior frame and runs vertically and/or horizontally through each eyelet of each drawer. The line is held in position via the counterweight. When one drawer of the device is opened, the line is tightened such that all other drawers cannot be opened fully. This prevents tipping of the device.
ARRANGEMENT OF A TIPPING-OVER-PREVENTION OF A CHEST OF DRAWERS, AND A CHEST OF DRAWERS USING SUCH ARRANGEMENT
An arrangement for tipping-over-prevention is provided for of a chest of drawers that may include a partition wall separating two columns of drawers. The arrangement may include a first drawer locking arrangement having a first guiding rail to be movably mounted to the partition wall, and a second drawer locking arrangement having a second guiding rail to be movably mounted to the partition wall. The first and second guiding rails may support at least two locking members that are configured to selectively engage an associated drawer and allow only one drawer in a column to be opened at a time. A connector arrangement may interconnect the first and second guiding rails via a through-going opening in the partition wall, whereby the first and second guiding rails are moveable as one common unit relative to the partition wall. Also, a chest of drawers including such arrangement is provided.
Hinge mountable cabinet
A hinge mounted cabinet capable of being broken down into multiple sections to reduce the height, width, and length of the disassembled cabinet for shipping.
Arrangement for tipping over prevention of a chest of drawers and a chest of drawers comprising such arrangement
An arrangement for tipping over prevention of a chest of drawers may include a drawer locking arrangement and an anchoring bracket. The drawer locking arrangement may include at least two locking members each configured to selectively engage an associated drawer, a guiding rail adapted to be mounted to a wall of the chest of drawers, a stop member configured to restrict movement of the at least two locking members such that only one drawer at a time is openable, and a driver connected to the guiding rail and/or the stop member and configured to indirectly interact with the at least two locking members. The anchoring bracket may include a first bracket member adapted to be mounted to the wall of the chest of drawers and a second bracket member including a guiding slot structured and arranged to receive a protrusion of the driver, thereby providing a cam mechanism.
