Stabilizer for a television includes an elongate, rigid portion, a top flap flexibly connected at an upper end of the rigid portion for example by an integral hinge, and a bottom flap flexibly connected at a lower end of the rigid portion for example by an integral hinge. The top flap is attached to a TV by attachment structure and the bottom flap is attached by attachment structure to a support surface to thereby provide a rigid link between the support surface and the TV which prevents the TV from tipping over.

An anchor system which can be used to hang framed items from a wall or to secure and anchor a piece of furniture or other object to a wall. The system includes an arrow element, a first washer element, and a second washer element. The arrow element includes a head with several expanding barbs and a body which includes a zip-tie zipper portion. Each washer has a flat body with a front face and a rear face, and a zip-tie receiver portion at its center on its front face, and with several prongs on its rear face opposing the receiver portion.

A lashing device includes: a base seat having a bottom wall, and two pivot lugs which cooperate with the bottom wall to define a pivot slot thereamong, and each of which is formed with an pivot hole communicating with the pivot slot; a pivot pin extending through the pivot hole of each of the pivot lugs; and an eye plate received in the pivot slot, and having a middle portion that is formed with a pivot hole provided for the pivot pin to movably extends therethrough, and first and second wing portions which are connected to opposite ends of the middle portion, respectively, and each of which has an elongated hole having an arc section. A table with a stabilizing system is disclosed. The table has a primary shaft having a bottom portion, a lower portion, and an upper portion, wherein the primary shaft has a cut-out at a bottom portion, a locking hole at a lower portion, and a stabilization mounting hole at the upper portion, a secondary shaft inserted into the primary shaft and when inserted, movably affixed to the primary shaft, wherein the secondary shaft has a bottom portion, a lower portion, and an upper portion, and wherein the secondary shaft a locking hole at the lower portion, and a stabilization mounting hole at the upper portion, a pivot positioned through the primary shaft stabilization mounting hole and the secondary shaft mounting hole to movably affix the secondary shaft to the primary shaft about a single point of movement, a lock positioned through the primary shaft locking hole and the secondary shaft locking hole, wherein the lock fastens the secondary shaft to the primary shaft.

A reclining chair or the like provides a set of base-mounted extendable arms that extend outward as the chair reclines to brace the chair against tipping. A force-limiting coupler allows the reclining mechanism and the extendable arms to be linked while maintaining different force regimes.

Stabilizer for a piece of furniture, such as a dresser or television, includes an elongate preferably rigid portion having opposed ends, two plates each having an inner major surface and an outer planar surface on a side opposite the inner major surface, a respective hinge that pivotally connects each end of the elongate portion to the inner major surface of a respective plate, and attachment structure arranged at least partly on the outer planar surface of each plate for attaching the plate to the piece of furniture or to a vertical support surface behind the piece of furniture. When the stabilizer is attached to the piece of furniture at a location above the location at which the stabilizer is attached to the vertical support surface and the stabilizer is in a vertical orientation, the stabilizer provides resistance to tipping of the piece of furniture away from the vertical support surface.

A refrigerator includes a cabinet that defines a storage chamber, an upper door that is configured to open and close an upper portion of the storage chamber by being drawn in and out, a lower door that is positioned below the upper door and that is configured to open and close a lower portion of the storage chamber by being drawn in and out, an upper door restriction unit that is configured to selectively restrict the upper door from being opened, and a lower door restriction unit that is configured to selectively restrict the lower door from being opened. The upper door restriction unit is configured, based on the lower door being opened, to restrict the upper door from opening, and the lower door restriction unit is configured, based on the upper door being opened, to restrict the lower door from opening.

A convertible item of furniture including: a plurality of shelf units, wherein each shelf unit has a horizontally extending leave and at least one leave support for supporting the leave; a drive system operably connected to each leave support such that the leaves remain horizontal when the shelf units are moved between a vertical configuration and a horizontal configuration; and, an anti-tip leg system. The anti-tip leg system has a front leg assembly and a rear leg assembly including an upwardly extending pair of rear legs, each rear leg comprising a rear leg upper region operably connected to a shelf unit or a part of the drive system, and a rear leg lower region supporting at least one wheel, and a linkage assembly interconnecting the front and rear leg assemblies. A spacing between the front and rear leg lower regions increases as the shelf units move towards the horizontal configuration.

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of household products, and in particular, relates to an anti-tilt assembly of a cabinet. The anti-tilt assembly includes a first anti-tilt member and a second anti-tilt member that are disposed at an angle of 90 degrees relative to each other. A first connecting surface configured to be connected to a fixing surface is defined outside the first anti-tilt member. A second connecting surface configured to be connected to the cabinet is defined under the second anti-tilt member. With such configuration, a top portion or an upper portion of the cabinet is fixed to the fixing surface, thereby achieving an anti-tilt effect.

A reclining chair or the like provides a set of base-mounted extendable arms that move forward as the chair reclines, and the leg rest extends to brace the chair against forward tipping, for example, if weight is applied to the leg rest without the counterbalance of an occupant. When the leg rest retracts, the arms pull back to reduce tripping hazard.
