METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RAISING AND LOWERING OF DESK WITHIN A WORK SURFACE
A desk within a work surface or table such that the desk can be raised and lowered to any desired position in relation to the work surface using an actuator that controls the use of telescoping legs or rods. During the process of returning the desk back to its original flush, or in horizontal seamless alignment with, the rest of the work surface, a knee action safety device co-acts, or in combination, with a gas spring is used for controlling the lowering of the desk and creating a virtually weightless of desk during final descent; thus, eliminating the possibility of a person's limb or hand being crushed or severely injured, even if these are providing obstruction
FURNITURE KIT AND ASSOCIATED PARTS
In an embodiment, a furniture kit for storage, transport, and/or assembly of components for use in forming a piece of furniture, includes a plurality of legs, connectors, and instructions. The legs may be connectable to a top portion of the piece of furniture such that they support the top portion in an elevated position. The connectors may include connectors for attaching a plurality of upper members together, thereby forming the top portion. Moreover, the connectors may include connectors for attaching the legs to the top portion. The instructions may include a cut sheet for cutting the upper members, instructions for connecting the upper members using the connectors, and/or instructions for connecting the steel legs to the top portion. The kit may include a container that may be used to store and/or transport the instructions, legs, and connectors.
Table Apparatus and Method
Some implementations of a table system can include a protective member that is positionable below a table to provide protection to both a table and chairs. The protective member can extend lateral beyond a peripheral edge of the table top, for example, to protect the table and accessory furniture while allowing the table top and the peripheral edge of the table top to remain exposed.
Peel and Stick Apparatuses for Building Blocks, Systems and Methods of Using the Same
Peel-and-stick apparatuses for building blocks generally comprise peel-and-stick plates for disposing on surfaces, such as tables, walls, floors, or other like surfaces to provide surfaces whereby building blocks may be appended. Other embodiments of the present invention comprise peel-and-stick table drawers, peel-and-stick mount tubs, curved plates, and scored plates for easily breaking the same to change the sizes thereof. Systems and methods of using the same are further provided.
SECURABLE AND COLLAPSIBLE WORK STATION
A work station includes tool containing or supporting features as well as workbench features, such as a work surface and work back. The work station is preferably mobile, permitting it to be moved or transported. In addition, the work station is preferably collapsible and securable. In one configuration, the work station has a work bench portion which can be raised or lowered relative to a base portion, wherein in the lowered position, the base portion is positioned in an interior space of the work bench portion.
Molded plastic structures
A plastic molded lip structure may extend along a perimeter of a planar element and may include an outer wall, an inner wall, structural portions, and protruded features. The outer wall may extend in a normal direction from the planar element. The inner wall may be disposed in an inward direction relative to the outer wall. The structural portions may be disposed along structural sections of the perimeter and may include first portions of the inner wall and of the outer wall. The first portions may be disposed parallel to the inner wall and separated from the first portions by a first distance along the structural sections. The protruded features may be interposed between two structural portions and an inner wall may be separated from second portions of the outer wall by a second distance that is greater than the first distance.
Multifunction control module and corresponding method
A multifunction control module including a housing having a flat tabletop surface on an upper side and a channel defined by a sidewall extending downwardly from an opening through the flat tabletop surface. A movable section may be positioned within the channel and movable within the channel between a first position forming a part of the flat tabletop surface and a second position below the flat tabletop surface. A drive module may control the movement of the moveable section between the first position and the second position, and a position detection module may determine a position of the movable section.
A MULTIFUNCTION CONTROL MODULE AND CORRESPONDING METHOD
A multifunction control module including a housing having a top surface a housing defined by a sidewall extending downwardly from an opening through the top surface. A movable section, wherein the movable section may be movable between a first position adjacent to the opening and a second position within the channel and below the first position. The movable section may include a wireless charging region that is movable with the movable section between the first position and the second position.
