Cooking exhaust hood ventilation system
A commercial cooking equipment exhaust hood system includes a hood structure including an inlet opening to an exhaust flow path through the hood. A filter unit is positioned along the exhaust flow path. An electrostatic precipitator unit is downstream of the filter unit. The electrostatic precipitator includes an ionizing section upstream of a collecting section. The ionizing section includes a plurality of ionizing flow paths having side profile patterns that vary in width between at least one wide section and at least one narrow section. The collecting section includes a plurality of collecting flow paths with side profile patterns of substantially uniform width and a repeating undulating side profile pattern. A UV light source may also be provided within the hood, with a controller operatively connected to control the UV light source via a dimmer to enable selective production various UV levels.
ELECTROSTATIC AIR FILTER
An electronic air filter having a plurality of electrodes supported by rigid fixtures that are attached to a common case. The rigid fixtures that support the electrodes with different electrical potentials are attached to each other or to a common body in a way that increases or maximizes the creeping discharge path along the surface. Even conductive contaminants do not, therefore, provide an electrical shortage between the electrodes.
INDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONER
An indoor unit for an air conditioner including: a cabinet assembly forming an external appearance of the indoor unit and having a suction port formed in a rear surface of the cabinet; a filter module movably disposed in rear of the cabinet assembly; a filter module mounted to the filter mounting member and filtering foreign substances in air flowing into the suction port; a mobile member connected to the filter mounting member and moving a position of the filter mounting member; a driving device pressing the mobile member to change the position of the filter mounting member; and a controller configured to, in response to receiving a control command to change the position of the filter mounting member, operate the driving device that presses the mobile member.
NEW TYPE OF ELECTROSTATIC BARBED WIRE AND BARBED NET
A new type of electrostatic barbed wire includes a plurality of barbs. The plurality of the barbs are woven together to form a fixed body with a strip-like structure. Ends of the plurality of the barbs are located outside the fixed body. A barbed net is also disclosed. The barbed net is woven by the electrostatic barbed wire. In the present application, the proposed new type of electrostatic barbed wire and barbed net are woven with the plurality of the barbs, and a processing technique thereof is simple.
Air conditioner
In an air conditioner, an air cleaner includes a charging unit for charging particles in the air and a dust collecting unit for collecting the particles charged by the charging unit by an electrostatic force. A filter cleaning device includes a device body to house a filter for capturing dust in the air in a movable form, and a part of the device body forms a supporting part to support the air cleaner. An indoor unit body houses the filter cleaning device, and houses the air cleaner by supporting it by the supporting part.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GAS CLEANING USING ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATION AND PHOTOIONIZATION
A gas cleaning system includes an inlet receiving a gas, an outlet spaced apart from the inlet, a gas channel defined between the inlet and the outlet to direct the gas from the inlet to the outlet, a photoionizer disposed to emit radiation towards a portion of the gas channel, and a first electrode module. The first electrode module includes a first discharge electrode assembly that generates a corona discharge within the gas channel and a first collection electrode assembly that collects ionized particles from the gas in the gas channel.
PARTICLE COLLECTING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A particle collecting device includes a duct; a blower configured to cause air to flow in a predetermined blowing direction inside the duct; an ionizing device disposed inside the duct and configured to ionize particles contained in the air inside the duct; at least two electrodes extending along the predetermined blowing direction, facing each other, and disposed downstream from the ionizing device inside the duct in the predetermined blowing direction; a power supply configured to charge at least one of the at least two electrodes to cause a potential difference between the at least two electrodes; and circuitry configured to control the blower, the ionizing device, and the power supply. The circuitry stops the blower in response to an ionization operation by the ionizing device.
Electro-ionic devices for improved protection from airborne biopathogens
An electro-ionic device configured for being worn on the face of a person is disclosed. The electro-ionic device includes at least two electrical conductors spaced apart from each other defining at least a portion of a respiratory pathway therebetween and a circuit configured to apply a first voltage between the two conductors during inspiration and a second voltage greater than the first voltage during expiration.
ELECTRIFICATION UNIT AND ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR COMPRISING SAME
The present invention relates to an electrification unit of an electrostatic precipitator, and more particularly, to an electrification unit having a discharge electrode, which connects a plurality of unit discharge electrodes in a row by means of a connecting terminal, and a groove-shaped fixing structure provided in a casing so that the connecting terminal and a connection part of the unit discharge electrode can be simply fixedly inserted into the corresponding groove, thereby providing excellent assemblability and electrical insulation and improving manufacturability and electrical stability.
AIRCRAFT PROACTIVE AIR AND SURFACE PURIFICATION COMPONENT
The present invention provides methods and systems for an ionization device that includes a base portion, a first pair and a second pair of opposed sidewalls extending upwardly from the base portion to form an upper edge, a top portion is engaged to the upper edge, and a cavity is formed within the base portion, the two pairs of opposed sidewalls, and the top portion. A probe assembly is disposed on the top portion, wherein the probe assembly comprises a probe seat selectively secured to an exterior portion of the top portion and a wire extends through the probe seat for supplying electrical current to an emission portion that emits ions.
