Systems, devices, and methods for collecting species from a gas stream
An example of a species collection system includes a plurality of spaced-apart electrically conductive collectors and a plurality of emitter electrodes. In some embodiments, at least one emitter electrode is disposed between adjacent ones of the collectors. In some embodiments, the at least one emitter electrode extends beyond the collectors (e.g., in at least one dimension). Collectors may be aligned to a direction of gas flow from an outlet (e.g., of a cooling tower) to facilitate collection while minimizing interference with the gas flow. Different emitter electrodes may be maintained at different voltages. In some embodiments, collectors are attached to a collector frame and emitter electrodes are attached to emitter frame(s) that are electrically insulated from the collector frame. Collectors may span a gas outlet (e.g., of a cooling tower) and emitter frame(s) may be positioned outside of the collectors (e.g., and outside of a periphery of the gas outlet).
Electrostatic air filter used to destroy pathogens and viruses with infrared heat
A novel device which can ensure safe and effective elimination of collected pathogens and avoid secondary toxins. The device is suitable for installation into various HVAC and air handling equipment to rid the air of dangerous viral agents. The destruction of pathogens is guaranteed by heating collecting surfaces sufficiently. Complete direct line of sight of the lamp to the filter is not required as is with UV light.
Braking device, system and method
A braking system for safely collecting brake dust produced by operation of a braking mechanism. The braking system comprises a collector apparatus coupled with a braking mechanism. The collector apparatus is able to include a shroud that surrounds the braking mechanism and a catch element coupled with the shroud for collecting brake dust exiting the shroud. As a result, when coupled with the braking mechanism, the collector apparatus is able to ensure that most or all brake dust, such as copper or other particles from the braking mechanism that break off from the breaking mechanism during operation of the braking mechanism, are removed from the braking mechanism and collected by the filter/catch of the collector mechanism.
Electronic apparatus capable of air pollution reduction
An electronic apparatus capable of air pollution reduction includes an operating tool and an airflow device. The airflow device is located adjacent to the operating tool, and has a shell with one or more opening holes distributed thereon for air to flow in or out.
Respirator without breathing resistance
The present invention relates to a respirator without breathing resistance, which has an air inlet duct that passes through an inside and an outside of the respirator and that has asymmetrical electrodes and particle capturing plates formed on an inner surface of the air inlet duct; ozone removing element that removes ozone generated by micro-plasma; and high voltage dc-dc converter that provides high voltage to the asymmetrical electrodes. It employs asymmetrical electrodes and particle capturing plates to filter air without generating breathing resistance. When the respirator according to the present invention is used, safety of a wearer may be maintained in accordance with an environment and breathing may be smoothly performed even while introduction of pathogenic bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores, fine dust, or the like included in air may be effectively blocked. Accordingly, the respirator may be widely utilized to maintain the safety of the wearer in various environments.
Electric precipitator air pollution control device
An electrostatic air precipitator for emission remediation including, a grounded frame connected to a housing having an upstream direction and a downstream direction with a first ionizing section, having at least a first set of ionizing members and a second set of ionizing members, where the ionizing members of the first set and the second set are electrically isolated from each other and electrically isolated from the grounded frame. Also, the ionizing members of the first set and the ionizing members of the second set are powered by separate power supplies and at least a first collector section is located downstream of the first ionizing section, and the first collector section has at least a first plurality of collector plates.
Electronic dust collecting apparatus and method of manufacturing dust collector
An electronic dust collecting apparatus is provided. The electronic dust collecting apparatus includes a charger, and a dust collector installed downstream of the charger, wherein the dust collector includes a dust collecting sheet including a plurality of first and second electrodes that are alternately arranged therein and a plurality of bent portions that are bent in a zigzag form in such a way that the plurality of first electrodes and the plurality of second electrode face each other.
Aviation proactive air and surface purification component
The present invention provides methods and systems for an ionization device that includes a base portion, a first pair and a second pair of opposed sidewalls extending upwardly from the base portion to form an upper edge, a top portion is engaged to the upper edge, and a cavity is formed within the base portion, the two pairs of opposed sidewalls, and the top portion. A probe assembly is in electronic communication with the top portion, wherein the probe assembly comprises a probe seat selectively secured to an exterior portion of a conduit of the existing environmental control system of the aircraft and a wire extends through the probe seat for supplying electrical current to an emission portion that emits ions.
