An electromotive adjusting device for a piece of furniture, in particular a piece of table furniture, includes a drive unit for adjusting a movable furniture part, and a control device for actuating the drive unit. The control device is configured for fastening to the movable furniture part. A sensor is arranged within a housing of the control device in order to detect a deformation of the furniture part and to switch off the drive unit when deformation is detected. Provision is made for a transmission element which is in contact with the furniture part and transmits the deformation of the furniture part to the sensor.

In a feature, the invention relates to a game station for a computer, including an articulating wall assembly, a base and floor assembly, and a rotating mechanism secured to the articulating wall assembly and the base, wherein the articulating wall assembly is adapted to support a computer with a monitor, wherein the base and floor assembly provides a floor for a gamer in front of the monitor during play mode and a housing for the articulating wall assembly during storage mode, and wherein the rotating mechanism is adapted to rotate the articulating wall assembly with the computer with the monitor from a vertical position in play mode to a horizontal position in storage mode. In a feature, the computer station is used as a game station, especially for multiplayer game stations.

A single lever-operated height-adjustable table includes a table top with two bottom guide rails, a base plate, a linkage system including two scissors linkages, two pairs of coupling rods pivotally coupled between the scissors linkages and the base plate and loaded with torsion springs and sliding roller sets respectively pivotally connected to the scissors linkages by respective pivot bolts and rotatably movably mounted in the guide rails, and a lifting control system for controlling lifting of the table top through one single operating lever.

An auxiliary table device is provided comprising a horizontal surface comprising a usable surface; a first surface vertically positioned below the horizontal surface and configured to engage with a first side of a portion of furniture; and a second surface positioned below the horizontal surface and configured to adjustably engage with a second side of the portion of furniture while in a vertical position, wherein at least one edge of the horizontal surface extends beyond an edge of the first or second side of the portion of furniture when the first surface and the second surface are engaged with their respective sides of the furniture.

A table with four chairs can be stored together into a secure, flattened assembly. The four chairs can store under the table such that, when the legs of the table are folded to be adjacent a back side of the table, the folded legs act as a stopper to prevent the chairs from sliding out when moving the table. A table structure includes a table top structured to be configurable to a retracted configuration and to a fully deployed configuration for use. At least one shape memory material (SMM) member is operably connected to the table top such that energization of the SMM member configures the table top to the fully deployed configuration and de-energization of the at least one SMM member enables configuration of the table top the retracted configuration. A flexible article is provided having a core formed from a plurality of laminar panels that are inter-connected to provide an expandable structure upon movement of the panels away from each other.
