FLOTATION PROCESS FOR TREATING COAL SLIME BY USING SALT-CONTAINING WASTE WATER
A flotation process for treating coal slime in which coal slime, a collecting agent and a frothing agent are fed into an ore slurry pretreater, and salt-containing waste water of coal chemical industry discharged from a coal chemical enterprise is fed as dilution water into the ore slurry pretreater and mixed together to complete mineralization; the mineralized ore slurry is subjected to a rough separation operation, the products obtained in the rough separation operation are subjected to a fine separation operation, and the ash content of the fine separation tailings is tested with an ash analyzer; the tailings are returned into the ore slurry pretreater for separation again if the ash content of the fine separation tailings is greater than 20%; otherwise the tailings are discharged as fine separation tailing products if the ash content of the fine separation tailings is smaller than 20%; the fine separation tailing products discharged through a pipeline enter into a pressure filter for dehydration, and filter cakes are discharged as a finally accepted concentrate product after the dehydration in the pressure filter.
Method for recovering gold in cyanide tailing by hierarchical ramified flotation
Provided is a method for recovering gold in a cyanide tailing by hierarchical ramified flotation. The method divides a cyanide tailing into coarse and fine-grained products through screen classification, making preparation for hierarchical ramified flotation. The method then conducts flotation of the coarse and fine-grained products with suitable process parameters and reagent systems, and selects a suitable coarse-grained flotation product as a carrier of fine-grained flotation to maximize the recovery efficiency of fine grains. The method improves the overall recovery rate of gold with the hierarchical ramified flotation of coarse and fine grains, series-carrier flotation and combined reagent enhanced flotation. The method has an advanced process, a good separation effect, and can effectively recover fine-grained gold in the cyanide tailing.
Compositions and Methods for Controlling pH in Metal Flotation Processes
Compositions for adjusting the pH of sea water to be useful in metal floatation processes are described, as are methods utilizing such compositions. Precipitation of insoluble magnesium salts interferes with pH adjustment of sea water when conventional sources of CaO and/or Ca(OH).sub.2 are used, however addition of nonreactive particulates (such as waste materials from industrial processes) permits use of such low quality sources of CaO/Ca(OH).sub.2 and reduces consumption of high quality CaO/Ca(OH).sub.2 for this purpose.
IRON CHELATORS AS ACTIVATORS IN ALKALINE FLOTATION CIRCUITS
The present invention is directed to a method for selectively recovering a mineral from an ore applying a promoter being a substituted ethylene diamine. Further, the present invention is directed to the use of said substituted polymeric alkylenediamine to separate a target mineral from an ore.
SULFONATED MODIFIERS FOR FROTH FLOTATION
Improved sparge compositions for reverse froth flotation separation and uses thereof, and methods of reverse froth flotation are described. The sparge compositions comprise sulfonated polymeric modifiers which can act as dispersants and depressants, and the compositions are suitably used in the reverse froth flotation of particulate material containing ultrafine particles. For example, the compositions and methods can be used in the separation of iron oxide beneficiary from iron ores comprising silica, silicates, and the like.
COMBINED COLLECTOR FOR ZINC OXIDE ORE FLOTATION AND USE THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses a combined collector for zinc oxide ore flotation, including the following components in percentage by mass: 60-95 wt % of a fatty acid, 0-10 wt % of a hydroxamic acid and 5-35 wt % of a mercaptobenzothiazole. In the flotation process of zinc oxide ore, due to the use of the combined collector of the present disclosure, it is not required to deslime. On the premise of ensuring the zinc grade in the zinc concentrate, the flotation recovery rate of the zinc concentrate is improved and the zinc grade of mineral processing tailings is reduced by using the combined collector, thereby reducing the loss of zinc metal.

The present disclosure divides a cyanide tailing into coarse and fine-grained products through screen classification, making preparation for hierarchical ramified flotation. The present disclosure then conducts flotation of the coarse and fine-grained products with suitable process parameters and reagent systems, and selects a suitable coarse-grained flotation product as a carrier of fine-grained flotation to maximize the recovery efficiency of fine grains. The present disclosure improves the overall recovery rate of gold with the hierarchical ramified flotation of coarse and fine grains, series-carrier flotation and combined reagent enhanced flotation. The present disclosure has an advanced process, a good separation effect, and can effectively recover fine-grained gold in the cyanide tailing.
Flotation reagents and flotation processes utilizing same
Methods of enhancing recovery of value sulfide and/or precious metal-bearing minerals from an ore containing such minerals as well as Mg-silicate, slime forming minerals, and/or clay by adding a froth phase modifier agent to the ore, and subjecting the ore to a froth flotation process performed under acidic conditions, are provided herein.
