The support is connected to a surface of the casing opposite to the tabletop portion.

The protective member can extend lateral beyond a peripheral edge of the table top, for example, to protect the table and accessory furniture while allowing the table top and the peripheral edge of the table top to remain exposed.

In an embodiment, a method for providing power to a load using a wireless power receiver includes: wirelessly receiving power using an LC tank; rectifying a voltage of the LC tank using a rectifier; setting a switched-mode power supply coupled between the rectifier and the load in bypass mode; after setting the switched-mode power supply in bypass mode, providing power to the load without switching transistors of the switched-mode power supply; and when wireless power reception is interrupted, providing power to the load by switching one or more transistors of the switched-mode power supply.

A multifunction control module including a housing having a flat tabletop surface on an upper side and a channel defined by a sidewall extending downwardly from an opening through the flat tabletop surface. A movable section may be positioned within the channel and movable within the channel between a first position forming a part of the flat tabletop surface and a second position below the flat tabletop surface. A drive module may control the movement of the moveable section between the first position and the second position, and a position detection module may determine a position of the movable section.

A mobile battery powered workstation may comprise a wheeled base having a modular battery power bay, an upper workstation having a monitor, a computer, a printer, and at least one adjustable height column coupling the wheeled base to the upper workstation. The workstation may also include a glass overlay display positioned on a top surface of the upper workstation area and configured to provide order fulfillment employees with haptic feedback on remaining battery runtime, calculated via an algorithm for increased accuracy. These workstations may be used in warehouses and retail operations for order picking and fulfillment, shipping and receiving tasks, etc.
