Voltage regulated electrolytic water purification methods and systems are provided. The methods and systems utilize a series of deflocculation tanks each containing a series of electrodes and a bubbler to remove contaminants from water. The water purification methods and systems increase the life of the electrodes, allowing for reduced maintenance.

LOW-ENERGY WATER TREATMENT

An above-ground low-energy method of dewatering highly contaminated waste e.g. leachate contaminated with at least a first group of contaminants and PFAS is described. The method comprises the step of removing the PFAS before removing the first group of contaminants. The removal of PFAS is undertaken by actively aerating the contaminated waste comprising PFAS to produce a waste stream comprising a concentration of PFAS and a liquid stream having at least some of the first group of contaminants. The one or more liquid streams are separated from the waste streams so as to dewater the contaminated waste. Optionally, the liquid streams are treated to remove the first group of contaminants.

SEWAGE TREATMENT METHOD

Disclosed herein is a method for remediating sewage that contains persistent contaminants. The method comprises ozofractionating the sewage under conditions whereby a foam fractionate comprising persistent contaminants is produced and separated from an ozofractionated wastewater, quiescing the ozofractionated wastewater, whereby a residual ozone content of the ozofractionated wastewater is reduced, and contacting the quiesced ozofractionated wastewater with a microorganism population under conditions effective to biologically remediate the ozofractionated wastewater.

System for industrial and hydrocarbon wastewater treatment

A tank for removing sand entrained in a flow includes an inlet assembly including churn tubes configured to receive fluid provided into the tank such that sand is separated from water, gas and oil present in the flow. An oil outlet port communicates with an oil collection device, and a water outlet port communicates with a water outlet assembly.

FLOTATION PROCESS FOR TREATING COAL SLIME BY USING SALT-CONTAINING WASTE WATER

A flotation process for treating coal slime in which coal slime, a collecting agent and a frothing agent are fed into an ore slurry pretreater, and salt-containing waste water of coal chemical industry discharged from a coal chemical enterprise is fed as dilution water into the ore slurry pretreater and mixed together to complete mineralization; the mineralized ore slurry is subjected to a rough separation operation, the products obtained in the rough separation operation are subjected to a fine separation operation, and the ash content of the fine separation tailings is tested with an ash analyzer; the tailings are returned into the ore slurry pretreater for separation again if the ash content of the fine separation tailings is greater than 20%; otherwise the tailings are discharged as fine separation tailing products if the ash content of the fine separation tailings is smaller than 20%; the fine separation tailing products discharged through a pipeline enter into a pressure filter for dehydration, and filter cakes are discharged as a finally accepted concentrate product after the dehydration in the pressure filter.

Water treatment for removing PFAS
