A support device for ergonomic support of a user's hand during operation of a hand-operated input device, such as a computer mouse. The device includes a left pad and a right pad, spaced apart by a hinge that enables the pads to fold into a closed configuration for transport or storage. The hinge may be a living hinge integrally formed with at least a portion of the left and right pads. The pads support the pisiform and trapezium regions of the heel of the hand, respectively, and are configured to slide on a work surface. The device may include a latching mechanism, such a magnetic latch, to releasably hold the device in the closed configuration when not in use.

A desk includes a base, a pedestal, a desktop panel, a desktop actuator, and a controller. The pedestal extends along a vertical axis and has a bottom end that is attached to the base. The desktop panel is supported by a top end of the pedestal, and extends transversely to the vertical axis. The desktop actuator is attached to the desktop panel and includes a motorized tilt mechanism, which is configured to pivot the desktop panel about a horizontal axis, which is transverse to the vertical axis, and adjust an angle of the desktop panel relative to the vertical axis, and a motorized lateral feed mechanism, which is configured to move the desktop panel along a feed axis that is fixed relative to the desktop panel, and extends transversely to the vertical axis and the horizontal axis. The controller controls the motorized tilt mechanism and the motorized lateral feed mechanism.

A storage rack for use as a storage element on the underside of a folding table is fixed to a predetermined portion of the underside of the table and has a foldable configuration. The storage rack can be folded along with the table and can be unfolded into a horizontal state along with the table in order for the table to store an object on the storage rack.

A desktop shield system for splashes protection that has a right rod, a left rod and a panel shield. The lower end of the right rod is connected to a base that its first side has a protrusion that corresponds with a recess at its second side. The right rod also includes magnet elements that are connected to its right side at a zero height. The left rod is designed in the same way as the right one but in reverse as a mirror view. The system can be connected with a another identical system, in a way that the recess of the left rod of the another system is assembled with the protrusion of the right rod of the system and the magnet elements of the left rod of the another system magnetically connected with the magnet elements of the right rod of the system.

A height adjustment system includes a first controller to control a first drive assembly of an adjustable desk frame and a second controller to control a second drive assembly of an adjustable monitor mount. The first controller is communicatively coupled to the second controller to synchronize activation of the first controller and the second controller such that an adjustment of a height of the desk frame causes a corresponding adjustment of a viewing height of the monitor mount and an adjustment of the viewing height of the monitor mount causes a corresponding adjustment of the height of the desk.

An articulated light shade including a stand having a first portion and a second portion, where the first portion is stiffer than the second portion, and the first portion defines a longitudinal axis. The second portion is flexible such that the second portion is movable relative to the first portion. A screen is coupled to the second portion of the stand, wherein the screen is rotatable about the longitudinal axis and tiltable relative to the longitudinal axis.

A school desktop cover for special needs students that is easy to install and remove. The cover can be strapped about (and beneath) a typical elementary school desktop so as to not interfere with the regular use of the desktop and/or the positioning of a student's legs there beneath. Full desktop varieties are intended as well as partial desktops and mat strip/straps. Each version contains a plurality of sensory workstation activities. A portable version for transporting between classrooms, or for the student to use while eating or at home is also anticipated. A method of use is also claimed.

A bullet resistant protective shield for a desk. The protective shield comprises a shield piece having a first channel coupling mechanism. The first channel coupling includes a substantially horizontal element and a substantially vertical element. The first channel coupling mechanism corresponds to a second channel coupling mechanism on a desktop, which also has a horizontal element and a vertical element. The first horizontal element and the first vertical element define a first channel and the second horizontal element and the second vertical element define a second channel. The first vertical element can be placed in the second channel and the second vertical element can be placed in the first channel thereby removably securing the shield piece to the desktop.
