Centrifugal separator
A centrifugal separator for separation of a cell culture mixture includes a stationary frame, a rotatable assembly and a drive unit for rotating the rotatable assembly relative the frame around a vertical axis of rotation. The rotatable assembly includes a rotor casing enclosing a separation space in which a stack of separation discs is arranged to rotate around an axis of rotation. The rotor casing includes a mechanically hermetically sealed inlet and first and second mechanically hermetically sealed liquid outlets. The second mechanically hermetically sealed outlet is arranged at an axial end of the rotor casing opposite and arranged so that a separated cell phase is discharged at the rotational axis. The rotatable assembly includes an exchangeable separation insert and a rotatable member.
Centrifugation systems with non-contact seal assemblies
Centrifugation systems are provided that have a non-contact seal assemblies including an upper guard and a skirted pivot, as well as a pressure source that provides a gas flow between the upper guard and a surface of the skirted pivot. In some embodiments, the non-contact seal assembly further includes a lower guard having one or more capillary channels defined on an upper surface.

SEPARATOR
A separator for centrifugally processing a flowable product includes a rotating system with at least one rotatable drum delimiting a centrifugal chamber and at least one drive spindle for rotating or driving the drum. At least one non-rotating housing surrounds the drum. A mounting device for mounting the drive spindle in a mounting receiving housing is arranged or formed on the housing. A support arrangement is configured between the outer circumference of the bearing device and the inner circumference of the bearing receiving housing. The support arrangement is designed to provide on the whole an elastic radial support of the bearing device on the bearing receiving housing, and thus on the housing.

Separator with direct drive and coolant system integrated into drive housing
A separator includes: a centrifugal drum; a drive spindle, where the drive spindle is rotatably mounted in a drive housing by a neck bearing and a foot bearing, and where the drive housing encloses a drive chamber; an electric motor which has a stator and a motor rotor, where the motor rotor is disposed on the drive spindle, where the stator is fixedly connected to the drive housing, where an air gap exists between the stator and the motor rotor, and where the stator and the motor rotor are arranged between the neck bearing and the foot bearing; a lubricating system for lubrication of the neck bearing and the foot bearing; and a coolant system; where the stator has a flange section which is disposed on a collar section of the drive housing.

CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATOR
A centrifugal separator for separating gas and liquid from a gas-liquid mixture, the centrifugal separator comprising: a housing having a cavity and a gas-liquid mixture inlet leading tangentially into the cavity along an inlet path to form a vortex therein, a separated gas outlet and a separated liquid outlet; and a rotor rotatably mounted to the housing inside the cavity in a manner to be freely rotatable around a rotation axis, the rotor having a hub extending axially along said axis, the rotor having a plurality of vanes extending radially from the hub inside the cavity, the vanes being disposed in the inlet path in a manner so that the rotor is rotated by the gas-liquid mixture during use.

VERTICAL DRUM DECANTER
A machine is intended to separate the colloidal solids from a fluid by using centrifugal force. The machine has a vertical cylinder mounted at the end of a hollow shaft with sludge dispenser and clear water dispenser nozzles. The drum is rotated at high speed by a motor and pulley assembly fixed parallel. The effluent is fed to the separation chamber through the hollow shaft and the sludge is pushed out though the nozzles fixed at the periphery of the drum and clear water flows out through the nozzles fixed at the doubled chambered hollow shaft.
