Centrifugal field-flow fractionation device
Provided is a centrifugal field-flow fractionation device in which a liquid sample is less likely to leak from a channel and attachment and detachment work of a channel member is facilitated. By integrally forming an outer peripheral surface 162 and an inner peripheral surface 163 of a channel member 16, the channel member 16 is configured as one hollow member having a channel 161 formed inside. Thus, pressure resistance performance of the channel member 16 is improved, formation of a gap in the channel 161 can be prevented, and deterioration in sealing performance due to secular change is not generated. Accordingly, a liquid sample is less likely to leak from the channel 161. Further, since the channel member 16 can be handled as one member, attachment and detachment work of the channel member 16 is facilitated.
Separation of minerals by specific gravity
A centrifuge for separating minerals by specific gravity is disclosed. The centrifuge rotates to circulate slurry across a collection region and to subject slurry in the collection region to centripetal forces that facilitate stratification within the collection region by the specific gravity of the constituent minerals of the slurry. Energy, such as acoustic energy, is coupled with the collection region and enhances the stratification by specific gravity within the collection region.

System and method for obtaining a cellular sample enriched with defined cells such as platelet rich plasma (PRP)
A system for obtaining plasma enriched in platelets is disclosed which is closed to the atmosphere. The system includes: a collection tube containing an anticoagulant portion and a separation gel; a first collection syringe adapted to collect a portion of fluid relatively depleted in platelets from said collection tube after centrifugation; and a second collection syringe adapted to collect plasma enriched in platelets from said collection tube after centrifugation, said second collection syringe further comprising a filter unit adapted to filter cells included in said plasma enriched in platelets.

DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR SEPARATION AND PURIFICATION OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS FROM BOTANICAL MATERIAL
The botanical extraction and purification device described in this patent provide the ability to extract and purify botanical compounds from a diverse plant species through specially crafted process sequences that effectively reach the desired botanical component despite differences in botanical material types and unique differences in organic chemical characteristics. The technological package consists of two main processing centers; each is a combination of process features that can be personalized to effectively address unique extraction requirements. When combined, the extraction processes deliver capabilities in product throughput speed and product purity not available using previously available separation methods. The first component of this package is a CUP that transfers chemical compounds from botanical material into a solvent. The second component is an AISP. This device separates unwanted botanical compounds from the solvent, resulting in a relatively pure plant extract.

CENTRIFUGE, AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The present disclosure relates to disrupting a flow of a product stream in a centrifuge to help keep the contents of the stream mixed in a relatively homogenous manner. For example, a centrifuge can include at least one discrete, flow interference member located in a product stream pathway to disrupt the flow of the product stream.
