SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS, CYCLONIC AIR TREATMENT MEMBER AND SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A vacuum cleaner having a cyclone chamber comprising a cyclone air inlet, a cyclone air outlet, a cyclone axis of rotation, an axially extending cyclone chamber sidewall extending between first and second axially opposed ends. The cyclone chamber sidewall has a first sidewall portion that is axially moveably mounted with respect to a second sidewall portion of the cyclone chamber sidewall between a closed position in which the cyclone chamber is closed and an open position in which the cyclone chamber is opened.
Cyclone for air cleaning and filtering module having the same
A filtering module includes a cyclone having a contaminated air inlet part into which external contaminated air and cleaning water cleaning the contaminated air are each introduced, and a cleaned air outlet part through which air cleaned by bringing the cleaning water into contact with the contaminated air is discharged; a water tank coupled to the cyclone, to which the cleaning water cleaning the contaminated air is introduced, and storing mixed water in which a pre-stored fluid and the cleaning water are mixed; and a fluid circulating part providing the mixed water stored in the water tank to the contaminated air inlet part.

Apparatus and method for extracting essential oils
A system and method for extracting essential oils from organic material is provided. One embodiment places organic material into an extraction chamber that is a cylindrical wall of rigid material, wherein a diameter and a height of the extraction chamber is sized to define an interior that accommodates a desired amount of an organic material having essential oils; fills the extraction chamber with a solvent after the organic matter has been placed into the extraction chamber; and moves a vortex plunger disposed over the surface of the organic material in a repeated upward and downward motion during an agitation process so that the vortex vanes generate a fluid vortex in the solvent, wherein the fluid vortex causes the solvent to be drawn upward into the organic material and then to be pushed downward through the organic material so that the solvent extracts essential oils from the organic material.
Wear-Levelling Apparatus For Cyclones
A wear-levelling apparatus (124) for a cyclone (100) includes: an upper section (128) defining an upper portion of a frusto-conical channel configured to receive material for delivery to a lower portion of the channel; a bearing assembly connected to the upper section; and a lower section (132) coupled to the upper section by the bearing assembly to permit rotation of the lower section about an axis of the channel; the lower section defining a lower portion of the channel configured to receive the material from the upper portion for discharge toward an outlet (120) of the cyclone.
DUST AND PARTICLE SEPARATOR WITH VORTICAL ACTION
A particle separator is provided for separating small particles from large particles from material. The particle separator includes a conical shaped separator housing that forms a cyclonic separator enclosure, a cover attached at a top portion of the cyclonic separator enclosure, and an opening at a bottom portion of the cyclonic separator enclosure. The cyclonic separator enclosure has an inlet tube with a tangential entry opening along an inner wall of the cyclonic separator enclosure, where the inlet tube projects horizontally outward from an upper portion of the cyclonic separator enclosure. An outlet tube extends upward from a center of the cover with a vacuum unit connected to the outlet tube that creates a vortex in the cyclonic separator enclosure.
Cyclonic air treatment member and surface cleaning apparatus including the same
A surface cleaning apparatus includes an air flow path, a cyclone bin assembly, and a suction motor. The air flow path extends from a dirty air inlet to a clean air outlet. The cyclone bin assembly is provided in the air flow path, and includes a cyclone chamber, a cyclone air inlet, a cyclone air outlet, a cyclone axis of rotation, and an axially extending cyclone chamber sidewall extending between first and second axially opposed ends. The cyclone chamber sidewall has first portion that is moveably mounted with respect to a second portion of the cyclone chamber sidewall between a closed position in which the first and second portions meet at a first juncture and a second juncture and an open position in which the cyclone chamber is opened. The first juncture extends at an angle to a plane that is transverse to the cyclone axis of rotation.
