Acoustic force assisted painting system
An acoustic force assisted painting system includes a housing, a nozzle, and at least one first transducer. The conduit is configured to receive paint from an external source. The nozzle is disposed in the housing. The nozzle has an inlet that is fluidly connected to the conduit and is configured to receive paint from the conduit. The nozzle has an outlet configured to dispense the paint. The at least one first transducer is disposed in the housing at a location downstream of the nozzle outlet in a flow direction of the paint.
EMERGENCY WASH SYSTEM WITH PULLDOWN EYEWASH AND SHEETING SHOWERHEAD
Apparatus and methods for integrated emergency wash systems. Various embodiments pertain to integrated shower and eyewash emergency wash systems, including those that are particularly space efficient. Other embodiments pertain to emergency shower nozzles that provide sprayed water in sheets, especially a cylindrical sheet that generally describes the perimeter of the shower spray area, providing the user a significantly quicker removal of contaminant material during a shower. Still further embodiments pertain to improved flushing systems, especially flushing systems adapted for the space efficient, low flow integrated systems described herein.
THERMAL AND AUDIO CONTROLLED VALVE AND SHOWERHEAD ASSEMBLY
A valve for use with a showerhead assembly includes a housing having a threaded inlet for connecting to a water source and a distally located front face with nozzles. The nozzles are connected to the threaded inlet by a central conduit which is closeable by an electronically controlled valve. The valve is controlled by a processor which opens the valve based on temperature and audio signals above a predetermined decibel level.
DEVICES FOR DISPENSING SOLID POWDER OR PELLETS
A drive rod in a solid material dispenser is linearly movable along, and rotationally movable around, an axis direction. A central rod is attached to the drive rod and drivable by the drive rod to rotate around the axis direction with the drive rod. A solid material container has one or more compartments to store solid materials to be dispensed. A switch valve is rigidly attached to the central rod and drivable by the central rod to rotate around the axis direction with the central rod. A container bottom of the solid material container comprises one or more first component shapes that form one or more first interstitial void spaces. The switch valve comprises one or more second component shapes that form one or more second interstitial void spaces.
NOZZLE GASKET AND NOZZLE STRUCTURE FOR PURGE LOAD PORT
A plurality of purge nozzles of a purge load port include a nozzle gasket and a nozzle structure to inject a purging fluid into and through an internal chamber of a container (e.g., a FOUP) that is configured to, in operation, transport wafers or workpieces between various locations within a FAB. The nozzle gasket includes a deformable structure that abuts against a surface of a nozzle structure and a sealing structure opposite to the deformable structure that forms a seal between the container and the nozzle gasket. A nozzle hole of a nozzle of the nozzle structure includes a threaded region or portion that is configured to receive a threaded stopper structure to seal off the nozzle hole.
Method and design for productive quiet abrasive blasting nozzles
Reduced noise abrasive blasting assemblies and systems are described. The new assemblies and systems are comprised of standard blast hose, accelerator hose, couplings and nozzle. The improved abrasive blasting system maintains abrasive particle velocity while decreasing the exit gas velocity and consequently decreasing sound production. This is accomplished through an acceleration section with reduced inner diameter and sufficient length to provide the necessary abrasive particle velocity. The new system maintains the productivity and efficiency of conventional abrasive blasting systems but with greatly reduced acoustic noise production and reduces operator fatigue due to the lower weight of the carried portion of the system.
BLOWOFF NOZZLE
Provided is a blowoff nozzle that blows out air to a film being conveyed, the blowoff nozzle including: first and second inscribed portions provided inside the blowoff nozzle, spaced apart in a film conveyance direction, and spaced from a virtual plane passing through an opening portion surface of an opening portion of the blowoff nozzle, the opening portion surface being a surface from which the air is blown out. The first and second inscribed portions have inclined surfaces inclined with respect to the virtual plane, respectively, and the two inclined surfaces are inclined to approach each other toward the virtual plane.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR AEROSOLIZED DELIVERING OF SUBSTANCE TO A NATURAL ORIFICE OF THE BODY
A device for delivering a predetermined volume a substance within a body cavity. The device includes: at least one predefined volume sized and shaped to contain a predetermined volume the substance; a delivery end in fluid communication with a container; and at least one valve mechanically connected to the container and configurable between an active configuration in which the valve enables delivery of a volume of the substance and an inactive configuration, in which the valve prevents delivery.
Flavor dispenser apparatus
There is provided a flavor dispenser apparatus that allows flavored aerosols to be dispensed into a glass, plate, or other dishware during a meal or the like. The flavor dispenser apparatus includes a storage part storing an aerosol-generating liquid, a heating unit having a heater and generating an aerosol by atomizing the aerosol-generating liquid, a liquid delivery unit delivering the aerosol-generating liquid to the heating unit, an aerosol passage having at a distal end thereof an aerosol outlet port, a flavor source holding part provided at an intermediate point in the aerosol passage and holding a flavor source so as to allow passage of the aerosol, and an aerosol-pumping unit transporting the aerosol toward the flavor source holding part and causing the aerosol to pass through the flavor source as well as causing the aerosol flavored by the flavor source to be discharged from the aerosol outlet port.
Fluid pump with whistle
A fluid dispenser with a fluid pump for dispensing fluid on movement of an actuator, and an air pump for delivering a stream of air through at least one sound generator on movement of the actuator. The sound generator produces at least two sounds as the actuator is moved from a first position to a second position, with each sound produced in a different time period during a cycle of operation, or differing from the other sound in respect of one or more detectable sound characteristics, such as duration, frequency, temporal alignment, amplitude, and/or timbre. The time period of each sound is a function of the relative location of the actuator between the first and second positions.
