A VALVE FOR PROVIDING PULSES OF AIR
A valve for providing pulses of aseptic air to a web of packaging material is provided. The valve comprises a rotatable valve shaft having an inlet portion with a circular cross-section, wherein the inlet portion is provided with a radial slot being connected to an axial cavity of the valve shaft. The valve further comprises a valve member comprising a curved end being adapted to fit with an exterior surface of the inlet portion of the valve shaft during rotation of the valve shaft, and a fluid channel extending through the valve member such that when the valve shaft is rotated to a position where the radial slot of the inlet portion is aligned with the fluid channel of the valve member, air can flow through the valve via the valve member and the valve shaft.
Exhaust nozzle unit, load port, and EFEM
There is provided an exhaust nozzle unit capable of discharging a gas atmosphere in a substrate storage container having a loading/unloading opening from the container to an outside of the container through a port formed on a bottom surface of the container. The exhausted nozzle includes a nozzle capable of switching the port from a closed state to an open state by pressing a valve of the port; and a housing configured to hold the nozzle so as to be movable up and down between a use posture in which the port is in the open state and a standby posture in which the port is in the closed state.
SHOWERHEADS WITH HIGH SOLIDITY PLENUMS
Multiple single plenum and dual plenum showerhead designs are disclosed. In the designs, pillars are disposed in each plenum to increase solidity of the plenums to provide improved axial heat conduction through the showerheads. The heat conduction is further improved by providing solid and substantially conical backplates.
Multilobular supersonic gas nozzles for liquid sparging
What is presented is a system and method for bubble creation in a fluid injection nozzle for the injection of a gas into a liquid to divide the gas into the smallest possible bubble size with the largest cumulative surface area by maximizing the percentage of gas at the highest possible kinetic energy that is in contact with the liquid. The fluid injection nozzle comprises a convergent inlet for receiving a fluid and a divergent outlet for exhausting the fluid. The divergent outlet has multiple exhaust ports.
MODIFIED FLUID JET PLUME CHARACTERISTICS
A fluid jet ejection device, a method of making a fluid jet ejection head for a fluid ejection device, and a method of improving the plume characteristics of fluid ejected from the fluid jet ejection head. The fluid jet ejection device includes a cartridge body; and a fluid jet ejection cartridge disposed in the cartridge body. The fluid jet ejection cartridge contains a fluid and an ejection head attached to the fluid jet ejection cartridge. The ejection head contains a plurality of fluid ejectors thereon and a nozzle plate having a plurality of fluid ejection nozzles therein associated with the plurality of fluid ejectors, wherein a first portion of the plurality of fluid ejection nozzles have a first axial flow path length and a second portion of the plurality of fluid ejection nozzles have a second axial flow path length greater than the first axial flow path length.
SURFACE CLEANING SYSTEM TO CLEAN LIDAR SENSOR OF AN AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE
A vehicle having a Lidar system includes a cleaning apparatus that performs a method of cleaning the Lidar system. The cleaning apparatus includes a nozzle for spraying a gas onto a window of the Lidar, a pump for controlling a flow of the gas through the nozzle, and a processor. The processor is configured to control the pump to control the flow of the gas through the nozzle at a variable flow rate.
COMPACT AIR-DRIVEN FLUID SPRAYER WITH REPLACEABLE CARTRIDGE ASSEMBLY
A handheld portable fluid spraying system includes a first disposable cartridge assembly having a first cartridge coupled to a first cartridge assembly body and a first valve coupled to the first cartridge assembly body. The handheld portable fluid spraying system also includes a base assembly comprising an air source configured to generate an airflow. A first portion of the airflow is provided to the first disposable cartridge assembly to pressurize the first disposable cartridge assembly and a second portion of the airflow is provided to a nozzle. The handheld portable fluid spraying system also includes a second disposable cartridge assembly having a second cartridge coupled to a second cartridge assembly body and a second valve coupled to the second cartridge assembly body. The first and second disposable cartridge assemblies are interchangeably connectable to the base assembly.
Foreign material removing device and vehicle provided with this foreign material removing device
A foreign matter removal device (1) is configured to remove foreign matters on a lens (101) of an in-vehicle camera (100) attached to a vehicle so that the lens (101) of the in-vehicle camera (100) is exposed toward an outside of a body panel of the vehicle. The foreign matter removal device includes a single-cylinder type reciprocating pump (5) configured to generate high-pressure air and a nozzle (22) configured to inject the high-pressure air toward the lens (101). A volume of an internal space of the pump is 10 cm.sup.3 or less. Exhaust time (t1) per cycle required for exhausting the air in the internal space is 0.03 seconds or less.
Windshield wiper fluid dispensing system
An aircraft windshield wiper system includes a wiper arm, a wiper blade coupled to a first end of the wiper arm, and an output shaft coupled to a second end of the wiper arm. The wiper blade includes a fluid dispensing system including nozzles, a fluid control unit, fluid lines, fluid source, and a user interface. The wiper blade with the fluid dispensing system is configured to dispense a variety of fluids directly from the wiper blade onto the windshield of an aircraft.
CLEANING DEVICE, COMPRESSED-AIR SYSTEM, VEHICLE AND CLEANING METHOD
A cleaning device for selectively bombarding a surface with a first medium, including an accumulator valve module having a high-pressure accumulator configured to store the first medium at a high-pressure accumulator pressure, an impulse nozzle configured to bombard the surface with the first medium, a changeover valve having a nozzle connector configured to connect to the impulse nozzle and a high-pressure accumulator connector configured to connect to the high-pressure accumulator, wherein the changeover valve is configured to: connect, in a release position, the high-pressure accumulator and the impulse nozzle via the high-pressure accumulator connector and the nozzle connector, interrupt, in a charge position, a flow path from the high-pressure accumulator to the impulse nozzle, and switch between the release position and the charge position.
