Removable cartridge for liquid diffusion device and cartridge insert thereof
An insert of a cartridge for use with a liquid diffusing device is provided. The insert includes a body, an inlet provided in the body to receive diffused liquid generated within the cartridge during operation of the liquid diffusing device, an outlet zone defined at least in part by the body through which to discharge the diffused liquid toward an external environment, and a tortuous passage extending between the inlet and the outlet zone to aid in further reducing an average particle size of the diffused liquid as the diffused liquid moves through the tortuous passage. Removable cartridges for use with a diffusion device are also provided which include such an insert.
Apparatus for in-situ pipe coating and related methods
An in-situ applicator for applying a composition in a pipe comprises a flow diverter configured to receive a composition and eject the composition from at least one outlet. The applicator also comprises a hollow conical body having a narrow end, a broad end, and an interior surface configured to receive the composition ejected from the flow diverter. The conical body also has a plurality of holes forming a band that wraps circumferentially around the conical body which defines a flow region on the interior surface between the band and the narrow end. The band includes first holes adjacent to the flow region where each of the first holes has a first average diameter and second holes disposed between the first holes and the broad end, each of the second holes having an average diameter greater than the first diameter.
Pool light assembly with cooling structure
Disclosed herein is a pool light assembly including cooling for the illuminating structure. The assembly includes a water inlet housing having a portion on the dry side and a portion immersed in the pool water. An assembly having sealing structure creates a leak proof connection with the pool wall. The submerged portion of the assembly includes a base. The base has an exterior exposed to the pool water and an enclosed interior including the illuminating structure. A notch is provided in the exterior of the base and extends into the interior for allowing pool water in the proximity of the illuminating structure. The assembly includes sealing structure for preventing water from entering electrically active elements, while allowing pool water to act as a cooling element. A retaining member locks and encourages waterproof sealing of the electrically active elements. Each of the elements is provided with structure as necessary to facilitate the free flow of water through the housing.
NASAL DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM
Devices, systems, and methods for treating chronic rhinosinutisits (CRS) are described herein. The devices can have a guide member defining at least one lumen therethrough. A drug delivery component is advanced through the lumen to deliver a substance to the sino-nasal cavity of a patient. Once the drug delivery component is positioned at the desired area in the sino-nasal cavity, a user actuates the system to deliver the substance to the target area. Actuation of the system delivers the substance to the middle meatus, osteo-meatal complex, or other areas within the sino-nasal cavity of the patient.
Method for the production of a connecting rod for an internal combustion engine
A method for producing a connecting rod for an internal combustion engine, having a small connecting rod eye for holding a piston pin and having a large connecting rod eye for holding a crank pin, wherein at least one connecting rod eye has at least one geometric deviation from a cylindrical inner contour. It is provided according to the invention that the at least one connecting rod eye is formed by creating a bore with a cylindrical inner contour, and coating the bore with a coating comprising a resin with solid lubricant particles embedded therein. The coating forms the at least one geometric deviation from the cylindrical inner contour of the at least one connecting rod eye.
Dual-plenum showerhead with interleaved plenum sub-volumes
Apparatuses and techniques for providing for variable radial flow conductance within a semiconductor processing showerhead are provided. In some cases, the radial flow conductance may be varied dynamically during use. In some cases, the radial flow conductance may be fixed but may vary as a function of radial distance from the showerhead centerline. Both single plenum and dual plenum showerheads are discussed.
Screw Compressor Having a Plurality of Branch Paths with Intersects and Central Axes
Provided is a liquid supply mechanism including: a plurality of liquid supply sections each including a plurality of branch paths whose central axes intersect with each other, and a supply path having a side surface to which the plurality of branch paths of the plurality of liquid supply sections are directly connected, respectively, and supplying liquid, which is supplied from an upstream, to the branch paths.

Sprinkler assembly
A sprinkler assembly that includes a frame having a body including an inlet, an outlet and an internal passageway extending between the inlet and the outlet to define a longitudinal sprinkler axis. Two frame arms extend distally from the body, and each arm has a portion defining a cross-sectional area with a lateral surface and a medial surface spaced about a first plane bisecting the body with the sprinkler axis disposed in the first plane. An axially aligned thermally responsive glass-bulb type trigger is disposed along the sprinkler axis. The cross-sectional areas of the frame arms are asymmetrical with respect to one another about the first plane and each cross-sectional area is asymmetric about a second plane perpendicular to the first plane. The lateral surface of each arm includes an undulation to provide the sprinkler assembly with substantially consistent thermal sensitivity about the sprinkler axis.
Sprinkler deflector
A sprinkler assembly including a fluid deflecting structure including a plurality of spaced apart tines defining a plurality of slots. The tines include a first pair of symmetric tines and a second pair of symmetric tines disposed orthogonally to the first pair of symmetric tines. The plurality of slots includes a group of asymmetric slots each having a first portion with a constant width and a second portion with a variable width radially outward of the first portion of the asymmetric slot.
