Self-Draining Shower Head

This invention completely mitigates the problem of water dripping out of a conventional shower head over a long period of time, and/or suddenly discharging from the shower head, long after the shutoff valve is closed. The invention is very simple and consists of drilling a small hole in the body of the shower head, and providing a flapper with a hinge on one side of the snall hole and a stopper on the other side. After the shutoff valve is closed, gravity and partial vacuum inside the shower head opens the hole, thereby destroying the partial vacuum and ensuring that residual water in the body of the shower head gets discharged immediately. When the shutoff valve is opened, water under high pressure ensures the flapper firmly closes the small hole, thereby preventing water from escaping through it.

Liquid management system

A liquid management system for supplying or receiving liquid at a controlled pressure, comprising: a closed reservoir having an inlet for receiving liquid from a first remote location and an outlet for supplying liquid to a second remote location; and a pumped outlet disposed in the reservoir and arranged to remove liquid and gas contained within the reservoir, the pumped outlet being disposed such that the level of liquid in the reservoir can be maintained at a constant height.

A bellow seal of a fluid dispensing system is disclosed. The bellow seal having a generally circular cross section includes a first end having a first diameter. The bellow seal further includes a second end having a second diameter that is smaller than the first diameter of the first end. The bellow seal further includes a contoured external surface extending between the first end and the second end. The external surface includes a cylindrical portion extending from the first end, an undulating portion, (which includes a convex portion extending from the cylindrical portion and a concave portion extending from the convex portion), and a tapered portion extending from the concave portion to the second end. The bellow seal further includes a flexible region defined between a first point located on the cylindrical portion and a second point located on the concave portion.

Fuel injector

A fuel injector for an internal combustion engine includes: an electromagnetic actuating element having a solenoid coil, a core and a valve casing as the outer solenoid circuit component, and a movable valve-closure body, which cooperates with a valve-seat surface assigned to a valve-seat body. The core and a connection pipe are fixedly connected in an inner opening of a thin-walled valve sleeve and the valve casing at the outer circumference of the valve sleeve is fixedly connected to the valve sleeve by being pressed in/on.

Rotary full circle nozzles and deflectors

Irrigation nozzles are provided that irrigate a full circle coverage area with different maximum throw radiuses. The nozzle may include two bodies, one nested within the other, that acting together form the full circle coverage area. The two bodies collectively define an annular exit orifice with one of the bodies defining the inner radius and the other body defining the outer radius. A flow restrictable inlet may be used to adjust flow through the nozzle and to adjust the maximum throw radius. The nozzle may also include a flow reduction valve to reduce the throw radius from a maximum distance and may be adjusted by actuation of an outer wall of the nozzle. A deflector for use with an irrigation nozzle is also provided.
