OUTLET FOR SHOWER OR FAUCET HEAD
Removable and replaceable outlets for point-of-use showers or faucets, filter devices, and methods and systems including the outlets and/or filter devices, are disclosed.
Oscillating nozzles
An oscillating spray nozzle and related methods for providing spray patterns in a variety of oscillating patterns by driving movement of the nozzle with a progressing cavity displacement motor. By varying the design of the progressing cavity displacement motor, a variety of spray pattern geometries can be generated and a speed of the nozzle as it travels through the spray pattern geometries can be controlled. The oscillating spray nozzle can include a housing enclosing a progressing cavity motor that is operably connected to a spray nozzle. The progressing cavity motor includes a rotor member that is caused to rotate and oscillate within a stator member. The rotor member is operably linked to the spray nozzle, whereby the movement of the rotor member is communicated to the spray nozzle.
PROCESS FOR COATING A CARRIER MATERIAL WITH AN ACTIVE MATERIAL FOR THE PRODUCTION OF AN ELECTRODE FOIL OF A BATTERY CELL
A process for coating a carrier material with an active material for production of an electrode foil of a battery cell with a Laval nozzle, wherein the Laval nozzle has at least one converging first portion, one second portion having a smallest flow cross section, and one diverging third portion arranged one after the other along a flow direction.
Spray nozzle
A spray nozzle comprising a housing including a primary passage defining a primary axis, a series of secondary passages configured to provide swirl to a fluid passing therethrough circumferentially positioned around the housing, a series of standoffs circumferentially spread around an outer surface of the housing and located downstream along the primary axis of the series of swirling passages, wherein each of the swirling passages corresponds to a respective standoff of the series of standoffs, in order to control the swirl of the fluid.
Water output device
A shower apparatus includes a pivotable member and a main body having a receiving space, an inlet communicating with the receiving space, and a first outlet. A first communicating hole is located at a connection site between the receiving space and the inlet in the main body. The pivotable member is pivotally connected to the main body and is manipulated to pivot relative to the main body and includes a pivotal axle disposed in the receiving space and a second outlet. When the pivotable member is pivoted relative to the main body, the pivotal axle is simultaneously pivoted in the same direction in the receiving space. The pivotal axle has a tube body, an isolating member, a second communicating hole, and a third communicating hole. The isolating member is fixed in the tube body to divide an inner space of the tube body separately into a first flow channel and a second flow channel. When the first communicating hole communicates with either the second communicating hole or the third communicating hole, water flows through one of the first flow channel or the second flow channel, thereby the water is outputted through one of the first outlet and the second outlet.
FUEL INJECTOR FOR COMBUSTION ENGINE SYSTEM, AND ENGINE OPERATING METHOD
A fuel injector for a combustion engine includes an injector body having formed therein a first passage structured to feed a fuel to an outlet of the injector body, and a second passage structured to feed air to the outlet of the injector body. Flow-directing surfaces are exposed to a flow of fuel through the first passage to induce swirl, and a flow segregator is positioned between the flows of fuel and air such that the air shrouds the swirling flow of fuel and inhibits migration of fuel radially outwardly from the fuel injector outlet.
Swirler elements for nozzles
A swirl element for swirling fluid in a nozzle has a swirler body. The swirler body defines a feed channel including an axially oriented channel surface and a swirl chamber in fluid communication with the feed channel. The swirl chamber defines a radially oriented swirler surface substantially normal to the channel surface. The swirl chamber and the axially oriented channel are in fluid communication through a tangential slot for imparting swirl on fluids passing from the feed channel into the swirl chamber. The tangential slot includes a smoothly rounded surface transitioning from the channel surface to the swirler surface for providing a smooth, substantially separation free transition in fluid flow from the channel into the swirl chamber.
Sanitary outlet unit
In the case of a sanitary outlet unit (1, 10), it is therefore provided to form throughflow channels (4) in a jet former (3) in such a manner that an outflow direction (14) predetermined by each throughflow channel (4) is oriented in a manner tilted in relation to a longitudinal housing axis (12) in two planes perpendicular to each other and/or about two directions perpendicular to each other.
AN IMPROVED ASPIRATING SPRAY NOZZLE
An aspirating spray nozzle including a cylindrical nozzle body, an integrated annular shroud and a nozzle cap. The cylindrical nozzle body has an externally threaded first end portion defining an inlet, a second end portion defining an outlet, and a middle portion. The integrated annular shroud encircles part of the nozzle body and has a base which is integrally joined to the middle portion by way of webbing means. The nozzle cap is adapted to be connected to the second end portion of the nozzle body.
