Rigid mount orbitor sprinkler
A rigid mount orbitor sprinkler assembly incorporates a deflector plate configuration that is configured for both spinning/rotating motion as well as orbital or wobbling motion around the center of a spool assembly. The sprinkler incorporates structure to reduce drool that may fall in a concentrated area below the sprinkler and to prevent debris from sandy water or the like from accelerating sprinkler component wear. With reduced vibration, the assembly may be rigidly mounted on a center pivot or other supporting structure while achieving the advantages associated with wobbling and rotating sprinkler assemblies.
SPRINKLER WITH OSCILLATING ROTATION
Oscillating rotation sprinkler that allows the start of the sprinkler even when it is mounted on drainpipes with the nozzle facing the terrain. It comprises a nozzle (4) which controls the passage of water and allows for the outlet of the water running through the drainpipes, an inner body (5) on which the nozzle (4) is mounted, a plate holder (1) arranged around the inner body (5) and a deflector plate (2) which is joined to one end of the plate holder (1) by means of support columns (13) and comprising a plurality of channels (7) that receive and direct the water coming out of the nozzle (4). It also comprises a warped ring (8) arranged between the inner body (5) and the plate holder (1).
ROTARY NOZZLE SPRINKLER WITH ORBITAL DIFFUSER
A rotary nozzle sprinkler includes a base assembly with a bearing, a stem mounted rotatably in the bearing, and an elbow coupled at a proximal end to and rotatable with the stem and including an elbow bend. A nozzle is secured to a distal end of the elbow, and a diffuser assembly including a brake mechanism is cooperable with the elbow. By positioning the nozzle downstream of the elbow, the sprinkler can achieve a greater throw radius.
Methods, systems, and apparatuses for passive end-turn cooling for an electric motor using gravity
In various embodiments, methods, systems, and vehicle apparatuses are provided. A system provides a gravity drive to distribute coolant oil flow including a nozzle for directing a flow of coolant oil over a surface of an electric motor wherein the flow of the coolant oil is caused by a gravity drive; a connector that is coupled to the nozzle that enables the nozzle to sway in response to external forces encountered by a vehicle operation and to distribute coolant oil over the exterior surface of the electric motor; and a counterweight that is coupled to the nozzle that provides a countermeasure to the external forces encountered by the vehicle operation to cause the nozzle to sway in a manner that enables the coolant oil distributed evenly across the exterior surface of the electric motor.
Sprinkler with radially limited nutating spool assembly
A sprinkler head having a spool assembly positioned within the lower sprinkler body of the sprinkler head. The spool assembly has a spool body having a distribution disc at an upper end of the spool body. The sprinkler head is configured with a nozzle that sprays fluid onto the distribution disk, causing the spool assembly to nutate within the lower sprinkler body when sprinkler head is running. The spool assembly is configured with two friction bands that are each configured to radially roll in or on a respective race within the lower sprinkler body. The friction bands can be integrally formed with the spool assembly or removably positioned on the spool assembly.
Sprinkler head
A sprinkler fitting comprises a spout and a deflector moveably connected to one another, the deflector being formed from a resilient material in a single piece. The sprinkler fitting may be manufactured by; forming a spout; molding a deflector in a resilient plastics material; and pressing the deflector onto the spout.
Orbital sprinkler with speed control brake
A sprinkler head includes a sprinkler body, a nozzle positioned within the sprinkler body, a fixed gear coupled with the sprinkler body, a wobbler cage supported on the sprinkler body, and a water deflector plate coupled with the wobbler cage and disposed downstream of the nozzle. A brake assembly is coupled with the water deflector plate for slowing a rotating and wobbling motion of the wobbler cage and the water deflector plate. The brake assembly includes a shaft extending through the water deflector plate and a brake gear disposed at an end of the shaft, where the brake gear is engageable with the fixed gear. Among other advantages, the design eliminates the use of large fixed strut framework that creates dry shadows in the water pattern.
SERVICEABLE SPRINKLER WITH NUTATING DISTRIBUTION PLATE
A sprinkler assembly with a nutating distribution plate can improve even distribution of water. The distribution plate can tilt and/or translate upon water impinging the distribution plate to disperse water in different directions. The sprinkler assembly can have a deflector assembly including the distribution plate and a spindle supported by a starter cap.
Serviceable sprinkler with nutating distribution plate and asymmetrical water channels
A sprinkler assembly with a nutating distribution plate that tilts and/or rotates upon water impinging the distribution plate. A deflector assembly includes the distribution plate and a base. A body of the sprinkler assembly includes a base retainer surface and a flanged bolt which combine to create a portion of a confinement structure. A portion of the deflector assembly is located within the confinement structure to limit a range of movement of the distribution plate. A nozzle subassembly includes a nozzle and retainer supporting a seal. The nozzle alone or in combination with the retainer can be removed from the sprinkler assembly. The sprinkler assembly can be disassembled and reassembled with minimal tools and effort for servicing. The distribution plate and the base can have mass properties optimized to improve sprinkler performance by reducing vibration, improving uniform water distribution, and reducing fine water droplet generation upon water stream impingement on the distribution plate.
RIGID MOUNT ORBITOR SPRINKLER
A rigid mount orbiter sprinkler assembly incorporates a deflector plate configuration that is configured for both spinning/rotating motion as well as orbital or wobbling motion around the center of a spool assembly.
