RIGID MOUNT ORBITOR SPRINKLER WITH SPIDER REFUGE
A rigid mount orbitor sprinkler assembly incorporates a deflector plate configuration that is configured for both spinning/rotating motion as well as orbital or wobbling motion around the center of a spool assembly. The sprinkler includes a spider ingress opening cooperable with a spider barrier that in combination permit inevitable spider ingress while preventing spider access or contact with certain moving parts of the sprinkler.
ORBITAL SPRINKLER WITH SPEED CONTROL BRAKE
A spool and wobbler assembly for a sprinkler includes a spool section with facing spool flanges on opposite sides of a spool core, where at least one of the spool flanges includes a circumferential rolling ledge. A wobbler cage including a wobbler ring is supported on the spool section, and a water deflector plate is coupled with the wobbler cage. An underside of the wobbler ring is provided with a circumferential rolling surface that engages the circumferential rolling ledge of the at least one spool flange. The rolling surface and rolling ledge provide for smoother orbital motion of the deflector plate.
SERVICEABLE SPRINKLER WITH A NUTATING DEFLECTOR ASSEMBLY
A sprinkler assembly can include a water inlet and a nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly can include a nozzle tube having a nozzle positioned at the downstream end of the nozzle tube. The sprinkler assembly can include a user replaceable wear disc at least partially surrounding the nozzle tube. A deflector assembly can be connected to the nozzle assembly and can include a distribution plate positioned downstream of the nozzle and configured to deflect water from the nozzle. The deflector assembly can include a cage having one or more arms connected to the distribution plate and extending from the distribution plate toward upstream end of the nozzle tube. The deflector assembly can include an upstream collar portion connected to the at least one arm and having one or more load surfaces configured to contact the wear disc, wherein the wear disc is configured to bear at least a majority of a weight of the deflector assembly.
Fluid dispensing device and pump
An electrically powered, portable fluid dispenser that includes a main housing and extendable wand that when used in conjunction with an electric motor, a self-feeding tentacle pumping spinning element, tentacle feed tube, and focusable vibrating backstops, is able to pump, atomize, and dispense, low and high viscosity fluid with controlled directionality and droplet size.
Liquid diffuser device for irrigation systems
A liquid diffuser device includes a frame provided with a nozzle for generating a liquid jet; a deflector assembly having a deflector plate with an upper face facing the nozzle and a lower face with a shank extending therefrom; and a containment member associated with the frame and having a peripheral annular collar, a stem, and a rotatable support on a bottom wall of a cavity. The shank of the deflector assembly rests against the rotatable support, the deflector plate being spaced from the annular collar to enable the free rotation of the deflector assembly. A protection member joined to the deflector plate is configured to occlude the space between the lower face of the plate and the annular collar of the containment member and to enclose the containment member, the rotatable support and all moving parts of the deflector assembly, preventing the entry of liquids, solids and debris.
SERVICEABLE SPRINKLER WITH NUTATING DISTRIBUTION PLATE AND ASYMMETRICAL WATER CHANNELS
A sprinkler assembly with a nutating distribution plate that tilts and/or rotates upon water impinging the distribution plate. A deflector assembly includes the distribution plate and a base. A body of the sprinkler assembly includes a base retainer surface and a flanged bolt which combine to create a portion of a confinement structure. A portion of the deflector assembly is located within the confinement structure to limit a range of movement of the distribution plate. A nozzle subassembly includes a nozzle and retainer supporting a seal. The nozzle alone or in combination with the retainer can be removed from the sprinkler assembly. The sprinkler assembly can be disassembled and reassembled with minimal tools and effort for servicing. The distribution plate and the base can have mass properties optimized to improve sprinkler performance by reducing vibration, improving uniform water distribution, and reducing fine water droplet generation upon water stream impingement on the distribution plate.
Outlet device with hollow water curtain function
An outlet device with hollow water curtain function includes a hollow housing and a deflecting column inserted in the housing. An annular passage is formed between the housing and the deflecting column. The housing further includes a plurality of arc-shaped inlet slots. The arc inlet slots are annularly arranged about the center of the annular passage. The internal port of the arc inlet slots is connected to the annular passage. Water flows to the annular passage through the arc inlet slots to from a hollow annular water curtain with centrifugal force. When the tangential centrifugal force of the water curtain orienting the opening angle of the housing is larger than the surface tension thereof, the water curtain breaks open to make the water flowing break open and diffuse as particles after keeping itself in a certain length. The diffused water forms a water type continuous in a certain range.
Jet diffuser device with quick-replaceable nozzle for irrigation systems
A jet diffuser with a quick-change nozzle for use in irrigation systems includes an upper supply portion with a main body that has an upper tubular portion with a longitudinal axis, which is designed to be connected to a drop line and a lower hollow portion having a central cavity and a side wall, in which a lateral opening is formed, a nozzle adapted to be radially inserted into the cavity through the lateral opening in substantially coaxial and facing relationship to the upper tubular portion to direct a liquid jet axially downwards, and a quick-connect system associated with the nozzle for securing it within the main body and including cam and follower drive elements operating on the nozzle to move it and push it axially upwards into substantial contact and sealing relationship to the lower edge of the upper tubular portion, possibly with no seal interposed therebetween.
Ablutionary fitting
An ablutionary fitting includes an outlet for providing a stream of water and a dispersing barrier arranged in the stream, such that the liquid passing through the dispersing barrier is broken up into a plurality of smaller streams, forming a spray, wherein the smaller streams are at least in part directed by the dispersing barrier.
