Nozzle, valve, and manifold assembly for precision application of crop protectant
A treatment system for spraying treatment fluid onto plants in a field is described. The treatment system includes a highly configurable treatment mechanism including an array of nozzles and valve assemblies coupled into manifolds, and manifold assemblies. The manifolds of the manifold assemblies can be oriented in an open state or a nested state, the open state with no overlap between nozzles of adjacent manifolds and the nested state with overlap between nozzles of adjacent manifolds. The manifolds can have multiple configurations, examples of which include a tube manifold and an offset manifold. The nozzles of the system can have multiple configurations, examples of which include a tri-spray nozzle, a bar nozzle, a fan nozzle, and a deflected fan nozzle. The system can be controlled by a system controller which detects plant material and instructs a nozzle or combination of nozzles to spray treatment fluid.
Container for a spraying device
Fluid liners and container assemblies for a spraying apparatus and related methods of use are provided. The disclosed liners include a side wall defining a fluid-containing portion and an open end, a flange extending outwardly from the side wall, and a latching member coupled to the flange, where the latching member includes a retaining feature for releasably coupling the side wall to a lid compatible with the liner. Disclosed fluid containers include a lid having a fluid outlet adapted to couple the lid to the spraying apparatus and a collapsible liner, where either the liner or lid comprises a latch that releasably couples the liner and the lid to each other. Advantageously, the fluid liners and fluid containers can provide enhanced storage options for container contents between spraying operations.
Hair treatment system, treatments and apparatus
A hand held shower head configured to deliver a continuous dose of water dispersed treatment from a water disintegratable treatment source, the shower head including: a hollow body having water inlet opening and water outlet, the water outlet defined by a perforated plate, and a mesh formation disposed within the hollow body between the water inlet opening and the perforated plate, wherein the water inlet opening, hollow body and perforated plate are configured to create in use a pressurised turbulent water flow within the hollow body prior to exiting through the perforated plate, whereby a water disintegratable tablet treatment source introduced into the hollow body prior to use, is then agitated by the turbulent water flow against the mesh in an abrading manner and thereby dispersed into the water flow exiting the perforated plate. A water disintegratable tablet comprising emulsifier, thickening agent, surfactants, oil and rheology modifier is also disclosed.
Dosing dispensers and methods for using the same
A dosing dispenser system and a dosing dispenser include a rotatable control configured to allow a user to select a desired mixing ratio for a product contained in a container attached to the dosing dispenser with a transport medium, such as water, flowing through the dosing dispenser.
VENT ASSEMBLIES
Vent assemblies for reservoirs and other closed systems. The vent assemblies include one or more apertures in a wall of the reservoir. A closure member is retained on the external surface of the reservoir by a closure member retainer and includes a first component and a second component, the second component is relatively conformable compared to the first component. The second component is positioned between the first component and the wall of the reservoir. A sealing surface is located on either the first component or the second component, where the sealing surface closes the aperture when the closure member is in an unvented position, and the sealing surface does not close the aperture when the closure member is in a vented position.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LIQUID-MEDIATED DELIVERY OF POLLEN
The invention provides novel systems and methods for liquid-mediated delivery of pollen to a female reproductive part of a recipient plant. The systems provided herein include a container configured to receive a liquid pollen suspension solution, and an applicator attached to the container configured to spray the liquid pollen suspension solution onto the recipient plant. The methods provided herein include spraying a liquid pollen suspension solution onto at least a first female reproductive part of a recipient plant using the system provided herein, thereby pollinating the recipient plant.

A dosing device to dispense two or more different scented fragrances mixed together
A fragrance dispensing system includes a first and a second container each having a main tube for the expulsion of a fragrance contained therein, and a dispensing device that provides a dispensing path towards an outlet section and that includes a mixing chamber and a first and second auxiliary tubes connected at one end to the mixing chamber. A containing case forms a seat containing the first and second containers, and a cap is configured to be applied on the containing case and houses the mixing chamber, an outlet section for the mixed fragrances and, at least partly, and the first and second auxiliary tubes, each of which has a free end separably connected to one of the main tubes when the cap is engaged to the case.
THERAPEUTIC SUBSTANCE DISPENSING SHOWER HEAD SYSTEM
A therapeutic substance dispensing shower head system has a shower head and a therapeutic substance carrying cartridge that is removably inserted into the shower head to diffuse the therapeutic substance into the water flowing through the shower head. The cartridge is configured for single hand manipulation and is inserted into a cartridge socket that is provided in the face of the shower head to make operation simple. The diffusion rate of the substance into the water flow is variably controlled by turning the cartridge while it is inserted in the cartridge socket. The diffusion is not predicated on aspiration or venturi concepts and thus is not sensitive to different water pressures and flow rates.
