The present invention discloses a device for controlling the application of insecticides for indoor residual spraying using a sprayer comprising a lance with a spray nozzle, a distance sensor configured to measure the distance between the spray nozzle and the surface being sprayed, an indicator of the distance measured by said sensor, and an indicator of the spraying rate and means of attachment to the sprayer lance and a pipe which allows the insecticide to pass through, and in that the indicator of the distance measured comprises a luminous device which changes colour according to the distance measured by said sensor; a method of applying insecticides for indoor residual spraying by the use thereof, the use thereof to control the application of insecticides and a sprayer which comprises a control device according to the present invention.
SPRAY APPLICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLYING A SPRAY TREATMENT
A spray application system and a method of its operation are provided for applying a spray treatment onto a surface of an airframe of an aircraft. The spray application system includes a set of multiple modular hood units that are combinable to form a combined enclosure that defines a shared interior volume. Each modular hood unit of the set includes one or more enclosure walls. At least two airframe-interfacing edges of each modular hood unit define a portion of a spray treatment region of the airframe. At least one inter-unit-interfacing edge of each modular hood unit is configured to interface with another inter-unit-interfacing edge of a neighboring modular hood unit of the set to form at least a portion of the combined enclosure. A spray access port is defined within an enclosure wall of each modular hood unit.
Aerosol generating device, method of controlling aerosol generating device, and program
Provided is an aerosol generating device which is capable of stopping aerosol generation at an appropriate timing. This aerosol generating device includes a power source which supplies power in order to atomize an aerosol source and/or heat a flavor source; a sensor which outputs a measurement value for controlling the power supplied; and a circuitry which controls the power supplied from the power source on the basis of the measurement value. The circuitry controls to increase a power supply amount per unit time in response to a first condition that the measured value is equal to or larger than a first threshold being satisfied, and to decrease the power supply amount per unit time in response to a second condition that the measured value is less than a second threshold greater than the first threshold and a third condition which is different from the first condition and the second condition being satisfied.
Smart paint stick devices and methods
Location systems and methods for locating paint and other markings on a surface are described. More specifically, but not exclusively, the disclosure relates to smart paint stick devices and methods of use in locating and marking buried utility lines or other buried objects. One system for locating a buried object may include a buried object locator and a paint stick. The locator may include a tracking component configured to detect a location of a buried object. The paint stick may be configured to cause a paint container to dispense paint at a first position associated with the location of the buried object. The paint stick may include a position determination component configured to transmit one or more range vector signals that are detected by the tracking component. Sensors may be used to determine when paint is dispensed from a paint container, and to determine a color of the paint or a type of a marking.
APPLICATION SYSTEM, CONTROL DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM STORING A PROGRAM
