PRIVACY SCREEN APPARATUS
A privacy screen apparatus can include a body having a plurality of elongated recesses and between elongated pillow regions. The pillow regions can have a larger width than the recesses. In some embodiments, the body can be configured to bend about the elongated recesses to different configurations. A plurality of stand elements can be connected to the bottom of the body to permit the body to be free standing. In other embodiments, a plurality of connectors can be connected to the body for connecting the body to an article of furniture, such as a tabletop or a desktop.
TOP-PANEL-EQUIPPED FURNITURE AND FURNITURE SYSTEM
Top-panel-equipped furniture (1) of the present application is provided with a pair of support structures (10) which are disposed apart from each other in a direction substantially orthogonal to the direction in which they face a pair of top panels (14A, 14B) and support the pair of top panels (14A, 14B) such that heights thereof can be adjusted. The support structure (10) includes a base member (15) placed on a floor surface and extending along a direction so as to face the pair of top panels (14A, 14B), and a pair of extendable legs (16A, 16B) which stand upward from both end positions of the base member (15) in an extension direction thereof and support each of the pair of top panels (14A, 14B) such that the heights thereof is adjustable.
Height adjustable table
A height adjustable desk or table is disclosed wherein a specially configured base includes a middle cabinet having an interior and side cabinets that protrude forwardly from the middle cabinet. An elevating desk top or panel is movable between elevated and lowered positions. A specially configured cable group or assembly or sleeve containing cables extends out from the middle cabinet interior and through a laterally extending slot (e.g., oval) or opening as the desk top or panel elevates. The cables can include power cables and data cables. In one embodiment, the specially configured sleeve is of flexible or fabric or woven material. In one embodiment, the sleeve has two bores that separate one type of cable from another type of cable.
Flip-top table for protection from projectiles
A flip-top table has a tabletop attached to a frame through a pivoting assembly. The tabletop is made from a ballistic resistant material and serves as a ballistic shield, rotating from its horizontal working position to a vertical shielding position. A front modesty panel is also ballistic-resistant and is mounted on the frame's front side with either a fixed connected to the frame or a hinged connection to the tabletop. A lift speed restrictor is connected between the tabletop and the frame, preventing the tabletop from being lifted too quickly and toppling the table, and it includes a biasing mechanism that provides a lifting force and helps to hold the tabletop in the shielding position. Visual markings on the table indicate to persons that the table can be used as a ballistic shield. Casters allow one or more tables to be quickly moved and repositioned into a defensive arrangement.
DESK
A desk is disclosed. The desk is provided with an insertion slot, the insertion slot is provided with a connection port, the insertion slot is used for inserting and placing a flat display device, and the insertion slot is connected with the flat display device through the connection port. The desk of the present invention provides with the insertion slot for inserting and placing the flat display device, which greatly reduces a space occupied by the flat display device on the desk.
FURNITURE COMPOSITION WITH HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE PARTITION
A furniture composition comprises a first workstation having a first worktop adjustable in a vertical direction, a second workstation having a second worktop adjustable, independently of the first worktop, in the vertical direction, and a height-adjustable partition which extends in the vertical direction between the first and second workstation.
A first support element is provided on the first worktop, by means of which the partition can be supported in the vertical direction, and a second support element on a second worktop, by means of which the partition can be supported in the vertical direction.
Furniture system
A furniture system includes a furniture member including at least one slot, the furniture member having a first portion defining a first width of the at least one slot and second portion defining a second width of the at least one slot, the second width greater than the first width, a pair of support members each having a pair of recesses, each of the support members rotatable between a first position where the support member may be inserted into or removed from the at least one slot, and a second position where the recesses of the support member engage the first portion of the furniture member preventing removal of the support member from the at least one slot, and a screen member engaging the pair of support members thereby preventing the support members from rotating from the second position to the first position.
