Table and panel furniture system
A table assembly comprising a table including a top member and at least a first leg support member, the top member forming a substantially flat top surface and circumscribed by an outer edge, the at least one leg support member supporting the top member in a substantially horizontal position, a table dock secured to the top member and forming an elongated channel having a dock length dimension and at least a first display panel circumscribed by a panel edge and having at least one straight edge having a panel length dimension, the dock length dimension less than panel length dimension, wherein at least a portion of the straight edge of the panel is receivable within the dock channel with the panel extending out the open first and second ends of the channel to support the panel in a substantially upright orientation with at least a portion of the display panel extending to a height above the flat top surface.
CONVERTIBLE CARREL
A convertible carrel which includes a desk assembly and a carrel assembly. The desk assembly includes a first desktop, a first sidewall coupled to the first desktop, and a second sidewall coupled to the first desktop. The carrel assembly includes a second desktop, a first partition wall coupled to the second desktop, and a second partition wall coupled to the second desktop. The carrel assembly is rotatable relative to the desk assembly between: (1) an open position whereby the second desktop and the first and second partition walls extend vertically upward from the first desktop to form a privacy barrier; and (2) a closed position whereby the second desktop extends across and covers the first desktop and the first and second partition walls are hidden from view.
RECONFIGURABLE WORK STATION, WORK SPACE, AND WORK SPACE SYSTEM
A reconfigurable work station includes a work surface supported atop a pedestal and base. A linkage arm is affixed to the base or pedestal at a first end and pivotally connected to a fixed member at a second end. The work station can pivot, with the linkage arm, about the fixed member to be selectively positioned in multiple positions. The pedestal may be height adjustable and the work surface may be rotatable atop the pedestal. Alternatively, the work station can include two pedestals and the linkage arm can be rotatably connected to one of the pedestals to rotate the work station, as well as to pivot the work station about the fixed member. A work space includes the work station and at least one wall panel, and a work space system includes multiple work spaces. Work stations within respective work spaces can be selectively positioned in focused or collaborative configurations.
Modular apparatus and elements thereof
The present system is directed to a modular apparatus that may be assembled and disassembled repeatedly without the use of tools. The modular system includes connectors that may be fixed to the underside of a plank and then engaged with leg portions. The connectors further include channels to accommodate retention members of additional attachments, such as covers, guards, signage, or racks that may be added onto the modular apparatus to increase its utility. The retention members mate with the connectors to connect and securely hold the attachment and can be removed from the connectors all without the need for tools.
PRIVACY BARRIER WITH WINDOW
A barrier assembly for dividing space comprising a first rigid panel member having first and second oppositely facing surfaces and forming a first opening, a second rigid panel member having first and second oppositely facing surfaces and forming a second opening, the second surfaces secured together with the first opening aligned with the second opening, and a window member having dimensions larger than the first opening, located adjacent to and covering the first opening with a portion of the window member adjacent an outer circumferential edge of the window member sandwiched between portions of the second surfaces adjacent the first and second openings.
Modular conference table
A modular conference table allows meeting participants and office staff to quickly and effectively change the length of the conference table as the needs of the meeting participants change. The present invention includes a tabletop assembly including a first end-top, a second end-top, and a modular insert top. Additionally, modular conference table includes a leg assembly upholding the tabletop assembly. The legs assembly includes two terminal supports and center supports. The modular conference table can be expanded in order to accommodate the needs of the user by adding an additional number of modular insert tops, modesty panels, and center supports. Thus, the invention allows attendees of meetings and office staff to adjust the size of a conference table according to the size of the space or the needs of the user.
WORKSTATION ASSEMBLY
A workstation assembly that can be opened when needed is disclosed. When closed, the workstation assembly can be aesthetically pleasing and can have a reduced footprint. When opened, the workstation assembly can include a deployable screen system capable of deploying an interior screen from a door section of the workstation assembly. The screen can provide a backdrop for videoconferencing, can provide improved isolation (e.g., sound isolation, visual isolation, shared airflow isolation, and the like) for an individual within the opened workstation assembly. The deployable screen system can also include an exterior screen for providing an aesthetically pleasing exterior and improved isolation while the workstation assembly is in use. The workstation assembly can also include a surround frame with openings and light sources to provide diffuse illumination to the environment surrounding the workstation assembly, which can be especially useful when natural light is unavailable.
Desk Utility System and Method of Use
A desk comprising a utility system whereas extended channels are routed or carved into top, bottom and side surface areas of said desk to allow metal or plastic devices to snap or slide into said channels to hold and store various gadgets, smart phone, tablets, panels, backpacks, thus transforming a normal desk into a multi-purpose workstation that will greatly enhance the user experience.
Height adjustable device with concealed lift mechanism
A height adjustable device including a counterbalance mechanism configured to be affixed adjacent to a rear portion of a vertical support member, a worksurface configured to be affixed adjacent to a front portion of the vertical support member, and a mounting member configured to slidably couple the worksurface to the counterbalance mechanism; wherein a portion of the mounting member extends through an opening defined in the vertical support member.
Workspace system and components and method for the use thereof
A cart assembly including a frame having a horizontal worksurface, a plurality of vertical support members extending upwardly from the horizontal worksurface and an upper rail spaced above the horizontal worksurface and connected to the vertical support members. The rail defines an opening at one end thereof. A screen is moveable between at least first and second positions. The screen is moveable through the opening and is supported in an interior space of the frame in the first position. The screen is disposed outside the interior space in the second position.
