A portable paint booth has panels including a floor, roof and walls made of non-porous materials, at least one door, an air inlet adapted to receive air from a mechanical blower, and an exhaust tube that extends from the booth. The exhaust tube may be supported by a pole to hold the tube upright and maintain a predetermined height. The terminal end of the tube may be propped open by a support element that extends around a perimeter of the exhaust tube. One or more of the panels, such as the roof include a laminate including one or more heating elements embedded in heat distribution layers positioned between inner and outer layers. A light source, such as an LED light strip, may also be secured to the laminate. A temperature sensor may control activation of the one or more heating elements.

A portable variable volume paint spray enclosure or booth includes a frame assembled from longitudinal members and detachable clamps. The clamps secure together adjacent ends of the longitudinal members. The paint spray enclosure further includes a flexible cover disposed upon the frame such that a relatively air tight enclosure having a predetermined configuration is formed. The assembled frame and flexible cover extends from grade level to a predetermined elevation to encase an object to be painted. The paint spray enclosure also includes an air flow input apparatus for allowing air flow into the enclosure, and an air extraction apparatus/air scrubber for removing air from the enclosure, such that air mixed with vaporized paint inside the enclosure is removed from the enclosure before the paint vapor and air combine to form an explosive mixture, thereby preventing an explosion and/or fire from occurring inside the enclosure, and preventing operators from being exposed to harmful fumes. The air scrubber removes the paint vapor from the air as the combination exits the enclosure, thereby allowing only clean air back into the atmosphere.

An apparatus for applying sunscreen is provided The apparatus includes a housing, a means for adhering the housing to a vertical surface, one or more nozzles coupled to the housing, the one or more nozzles for dispensing sunscreen via a mist, a valve communicably coupled to the one or more nozzles, such that the valve regulates ingress of sunscreen to the one or more nozzles, a pressurized canister of sunscreen removably coupled to the valve via a fastener, such that sunscreen from the canister enters the valve, and a processor communicably coupled to the valve, the processor configured for starting a timer and activating the valve for a predefined period of time after the timer expires.

An improved mobile paint booth system and method for applying paint to a vehicle is herein disclosed. An improved mobile paint booth can comprise a plurality of vertical supports, a base support, a first upper beam, and a second upper beam. The plurality of vertical supports can comprise a corner support at each corner, and a middle support along a first wall. The base support can be substantially in the shape of a U that can connect each of the vertical supports. The base of the U can be along the bottom of the first wall. The first upper beam that can connect a first set of the corner support and the middle support. The second upper beam that can connect a second set of the corner support.

The invention relates to a coating device and to a method for metal-coating of workpieces, comprising a housing, which surrounds a working space, a retaining apparatus for retaining at least one workpiece in the working space, at least one deposition apparatus comprising a deposition nozzle for applying a metal powder to the workpiece surface to be coated, and a laser for locally melting the metal powder on the workpiece surface to form a coating, and at least one movement apparatus, by means of which the at least one deposition apparatus can be moved relative to the workpiece surface during the coating. Particularly efficient coating is made possible by at least two deposition apparatuses being arranged in the working space in the housing, which apparatuses are designed to simultaneously apply and melt metal powder.

A mobile automotive spray booth having a collapsible enclosure and a fire suppression system. The fire suppression system includes a control unit, a fire detection cable or cable assembly in communication with the control unit, and a fire extinguisher assembly in communication with the control unit. The fire detection cable or cable assembly extends across at least a portion of the collapsible enclosure, and is configured to detect a fire within the collapsible enclosure. The control unit is configured to activate the fire extinguisher assembly to extinguish the fire upon detection of the fire by the fire detection cable or cable assembly. The fire detection cable or cable assembly is configured to bend to allow the collapsible enclosure to collapse from an expanded configuration to a collapsed configuration without removal or disassembly of the fire detection cable or cable assembly.

A mobile automotive spray booth having a collapsible enclosure and a fire suppression system. The fire suppression system includes a control unit, a fire detection cable or cable assembly in communication with the control unit, and a fire extinguisher assembly in communication with the control unit. The fire detection cable or cable assembly extends across at least a portion of the collapsible enclosure, and is configured to detect a fire within the collapsible enclosure. The control unit is configured to activate the fire extinguisher assembly to extinguish the fire upon detection of the fire by the fire detection cable or cable assembly. The fire detection cable or cable assembly is configured to bend to allow the collapsible enclosure to collapse from an expanded configuration to a collapsed configuration without removal or disassembly of the fire detection cable or cable assembly.
