Sprayable Sealant for Aircraft Parts and Assemblies
Applicant discloses a two part polymer mix for use in the aircraft industry that is applied with pneumatic mix and spray gun. A two part cartridge is used in the mix and spray gun so the mix is applied immediately upon mixing, but the two components are kept separated unless the gun is applying the mix. The mix cures to form a clear sealant that allows for inspection of cracks and corrosion beneath the sealant. It cures quickly so that the coated part may be further processed, for example in the assembly line during aircraft build.
Coating apparatus and coating method using a coating needle to apply a liquid material to an object
A coating apparatus applies a liquid material to a surface of a target object using a coating needle. The coating apparatus includes a coating unit having a coating needle and a container to hold a liquid material, a driving device configured to move the coating needle up and down, a Z-axis table configured to move the coating unit up and down, and a controller configured to drive the driving device and the Z-axis table to perform a coating operation. The controller adjusts the coating amount of the liquid material by controlling the driving device and the Z-axis table in accordance with an operation parameter set corresponding to the coating unit attached.

FLUID MATERIAL APPLICATION DEVICE
The purpose of the present invention is to hold a fluid material repeatedly with a stable volume and stably coat the fluid material on an object being coated. A sealant coating device includes a chamber in which a sealant is stored; a shaft that is inserted in and withdrawn from the chamber; and a transfer part that moves toward and away from the shaft, which is protruding from the chamber, and is capable of holding sealant which is adhering to the shaft. The transfer part is moved to a fastener and may move toward and away from the fastener.

Device for lacquer transfer
A device for a lacquer transfer includes a transfer roller mounted at and rotatable relative to a frame. The roller includes a cylindrical support-body, first ring-element, second ring-element, and a tire including a middle-section forming a circumferential outer contact surface with depressions, the roller configured to roll with the outer contract surface on a work surface of a workpiece for transferring lacquer from the outer contact surface and the depressions to the work surface. The tire includes two annular end-sections attached to a cylindrical outer shell of the support-body resulting in two axially separated and circumferentially extending connections, the tire, connections, and outer shell of the support-body being fluid-tight. The first and second ring-elements are in the first cavity seated on the support-body at a distance in an axial direction of the roller from one another and the middle-section of the tire between the first and second ring-elements is prestrained in the axial direction.
Height detection apparatus and coating apparatus equipped with the same
A height detection apparatus successively changes the brightness of white light from a first level to a second level in accordance with a position of a Z stage and captures an image of interference light while moving a two-beam interference objective lens relative to a paste film in an optical axis direction, detects, as a focus position, a position of the Z stage where the intensity of interference light is highest in a period during which the brightness of white light is set to the first or second level, for each pixel of the captured image, and obtains the height of the paste film based on a detection result.
Gluing device of an end edge of a log
A gluing device of an end edge of a log including an introduction assembly into the gluing device of a log, a handling assembly for a log associated to detection device of the end edge and including a pair of rolls for advancement and holding in rotation of the log, a glue dispensing assembly and a transfer assembly of the log including a transfer plane positioned downstream of the lower handling roller. The glue dispensing assembly is placed in series between the lower handling roll and the transfer plane and includes a transverse tank for the glue, housing cyclically movable glue transfer members. The transverse tank is provided with an upper cover provided with a plurality of openings provided in succession side by side at a set distance along a transverse row. The movable glue transfer members include a plurality of tips provided in succession along a transverse row, alternatively projecting through the relevant openings and retracted within the transverse tank because of the cyclical movement.
