Provided is a technique for detecting whether or not there is a drop of a liquid in a non-supply period. There are performed the steps of: imaging in a non-supply period during which supply of liquid to a target nozzle among one or more nozzles is stopped while allowing an imaging visual field to include a dropping path through which the liquid drops from an opening of the target nozzle; and detecting whether or not there is a drop of the liquid using an imaging result in the imaging step. This enable detecting whether or not there is a drop of the liquid from the target nozzle in a non-supply period during which supply of the liquid toward the target nozzle is stopped.

CATALYST PREPARATION APPARATUS AND SYSTEM

The present invention comprises: a separable material injection part for injecting a material therein; a mixing part for mixing the material injected in the material injection part; an aging part for aging, at a high temperature, the material mixed in the mixing part; and a firing part for supporting, on a support, the material aged in the aging part.

One of a setting dissolved oxygen concentration and a setting atmosphere oxygen concentration is determined based on a required etching amount. Thereafter, based on the required etching amount and the one of the determined setting dissolved oxygen concentration and setting atmosphere oxygen concentration, the other of the setting dissolved oxygen concentration and the setting atmosphere oxygen concentration is determined. A low oxygen gas whose oxygen concentration is equal or approached to the determined setting atmosphere oxygen concentration flows into a chamber that houses a substrate. Furthermore, an etching liquid whose dissolved oxygen is reduced such that its dissolved oxygen concentration is equal or approached to the determined setting dissolved oxygen concentration is supplied to the entire region of the upper surface of the substrate held horizontally.

SPHERICAL CORE SPRAYING TOOL

A spherical core spraying tool comprises a spraying spindle and connecting rods; the spraying spindle is circumferentially provided with a plurality of protruding rings, and is axially provided with a strip-shaped groove; the connecting rods are disposed in the groove; one end of the spraying spindle is a power input end, and the other end is provided with a locking sleeve; the groove runs through the protruding rings. By spot-welding steel balls in an inner hole of a spherical core and fitting the spherical core over the spraying spindle, the steel balls are stuck in the groove of the spraying spindle, and the both sides of the steel balls are tightened by means of the connecting rods in abutting-against fashion, so that a plurality of spherical cores is fixed together with the spraying spindle, and the plurality of spherical cores can be spray-coated simultaneously, thereby improving the efficiency.

Method and applicator for applying sealant to fasteners

A liquid sealant applicator system that may include a liquid sealant applicator having a coupling to reversibly connect to a source of liquid sealant, a sidewall extending from the coupling and defining a sealant flow path, a flow restrictor that restricts the sealant flow path to an annular pattern of apertures in the flow restrictor, a porous matrix that fills at least a portion of the sealant flow path downstream of the flow restrictor, a matrix retainer configured to retain the porous matrix within the sealant flow path, and a fastener socket connected to the sidewall and having a distal end configured to be placed over and at least substantially enclose the head of a preselected fastener. The applicator is configured to provide a uniform application of sealant from the source of the liquid sealant to the head of the fastener enclosed by the fastener socket.
