Impregnation plant for internally hollow cylindrical components (stators) of electric motors including working stations arranged linearly and sequentially, managed and controlled by central processing unit; and a plurality of motor-driven elements to impart rotatory motion, in both directions of rotation, and tilting motion, in both directions respective to a predefined plane, to each component mounted onto a respective support device when such support device is inserted into the plant working stations. Each support device has a spring collet in turn has blocks clamping the component onto the inner diameter of its respective cylindrical body. Each spring collet entirely crosses the component cylindrical body to rest on both of its respective circumferential ends. An impregnation method for electric motor components using the impregnation plant, wherein the component is rotatable in both directions about a support device predefined axis, and tiltable respective to a predefined plane of such support device.

A workpiece turntable comprises a turntable module and an attachable floor-engaging support. The floor-engaging support is preferably height adjustable. The turntable module comprises a rotatable base mounted on a stationary base; a wire frame mounted over the rotatable base; a first set of support elements extending from the wire frame having a first height relative to the rotatable base; and a second set of support elements extending from the wire frame having a second height relative to the rotatable base. Each one of the support elements includes a respective support finger that can be made of an elastomer such rubber, silicone, or urethane.

Analytic substrate coating apparatus and method
11692915 · 2023-07-04 ·

An apparatus and method for producing a coated analytic substrate using a compact and portable automated instrument located in the laboratory setting at the point of use which can consistently produce one or a plurality of coated analytic substrates “on demand” for using the analytic substrate immediately after coating, preferably without a step of rinsing the coated analytic substrate before use. The apparatus preferably uses applicator cartridges having a reservoir containing the coating compositions used to form the coatings. Preferably the cartridges are removable and interchangeable to facilitate the production of individual analytic substrates having different coatings or different coating patterns. These coated analytic substrates have superior specimen adhesion characteristics due to the improved quality of the coatings applied by the coating apparatus and due to the quickness with which the coated analytic substrates can be used in the lab after production.

The substrate processing apparatus includes a suction holding mechanism, a rotation mechanism, a plurality of lift pins, a vertical movement mechanism, and a horizontal movement mechanism. The suction holding mechanism sucks and holds a substrate. The rotation mechanism rotates the suction holding mechanism holding the substrate about the rotation axis. The vertical movement mechanism moves the plurality of lift pins in the vertical direction. A sensor measures the eccentric state of the substrate W held by the suction holding mechanism. The vertical movement mechanism supports the substrate from the suction holding mechanism by moving the plurality of lift pins and the horizontal movement mechanism moves the plurality of lift pins based on the eccentric state of the substrate measured by the sensor in a state where the substrate is supported.
